The Road to Dominance and How to Find it Again

The way I see it FSU has to do three main things to become a dominant team again.
1. Completely Overhaul the Offense
Jeff resigning was a good start, but FSU needs to get rid of everyone on the offensive staff.
2. Focus on recruiting for the O-Line
FSU's O-Line has been full of holes. They need to get O-Linemen so make it #1 on the recruting list, espically if Bobby insists on starting the practically immobile Drew Weatherford
3. Start Xaiver Lee
Lee has played better than Drew in what little time he has gotten to start. Plus, unlike Drew, Lee actually has mobility.

But...
It took e-bay to get rid of Jeff. Who knows what it will take to get rid of the rest of the offensive coaching staff.

The O-Line might get placed high on the priority list for recruiting, but I don't see much progress there.

If Drew doesn't get pulled for three INTs against Florida and Lee gets three snaps from the I formation and doesn't come back in then nothing short of an inability to play will keep Bobby's boy (Drew) out of the huddle. (This one is painfully obvious)

This is what you've all been saying, thinking, and posting before, so forgive me if I'm just repeating what someone posted (but this is probably full of spelling errors).

I Agree... Mostly
I think you are right about the Offensive Coaching Staff situation, the Xavier Lee idea... but I dont know about the O-Line. You go back (rivals.com) and look at the starting linesman on FSU, page and they are (were) some of the best in the country. Wow, coaching has a lot of effect. HAHA And we have been heavily focused on tailbacks and O-Line but would you want to go to FSU (if you were a top tineman or RB) with its stagnant offense and bad coaching... the answer is no. We cant get better recruits until we prove our current O-Line isnt god awful... by the way they are. A perfect example? Antwane Greenlee. The #2 OG in the country. Early on BOOM his is commited to FSU. 4 months later (FOOTBALL SEASON) he renigs and goes to GEORGIA. That is what I mean. Our program is failing to do lack of progress from our current players. This is killing recruiting.

The Offensive Staff will be replaced...
...if they don't get replaced, Bowden is basically feeding the notion that the problems on offense were entirely his son's fault.

John Lilly will probably stay, the rest will go.

Which means...
...the QB spot will probably be up for grabs next season. It'll depend on exactly who comes in, but I think Lee will get his shot at the starting job- it just depends on his performance in the spring and fall.

I really don't know...
...if the way FSU constructs the practices work in Lee's favor. There's no rush and Weatherford will get a lot of his reps against the second and third team if he's designated the starter going into spring.

Its Lees Job To Lose
I think we all know Lee has better mobility, athletic ablity and are then Drew. At some poin the coaches will realize the better athletes. They ay he mad critical mistake... but what do you say to a guy who started 2 games and did exelent in one. He is the future of the program... if he isn't were in serious trouble

The truth of the matter is....
that Bobby is supposedly picking the new oc.  this is trouble by itself. he doesn't know what he's doing anymore. It will be Drew who is the future of this program whether we like it or not. Bobby will make sure of that. If XL is even given the chance the first time he starts having trouble Bobby will pull him like has this year.  After the 3 ints in the florida game and Lee was not given a chance to do anything I think we all got a hint of what is going on. I just feel bad for XL, another black talented QB wasted. Yea BLACK...for some reason Bobby just doesn't want to see them lead his team. I just don't see why. yea charlie ward is the lone exception but there was a reason for that I just wish XL could get a chance so we can get back into the national hunt again.....

yea its a :BLACK: thing
give me a DAMN break . . .

Warrick Dunn
Peter Warrick
Cro Thorpe
Javon Walker
Adrian McPherson(Bobby made him steal right?)
(i'd keep going but i gotta go to class)

when was the last time we had a white receiver or running back, dont come with the race card.  my goodness, that doesnt even remotely fly

have you seen the defense lately?  race has nothing to do with it.  what you initially stated does however and that is that Bobby has lost his touch mentally

being black has nothing to do with it my man

Your Right...
Now that Surratt is gone if Drew doesnt start we dont have a white dude on our entire starting roster.... none on D and 2 on O but Surratts gone and XL might start
