Nice start
Darn good start for FSU. The running back completely whiffed in the blitz pickup on the Buster Davis sack.

Second Half was a Disaster
In the words of the 2 Live Stews, the FSU offense looked like hot garbage.

Halftime Stats
FSU: 10 rushes for 1 yard (un****inbelievable)

Weatherford: 7 for 13, 43 yards, one interception

Wright: 15 for 19 for 104 yards.

Jeff Bowden
It's about time he started calling more pass plays.

he really does need to pass more, and go down field more.  you could tell whetherford had some first game jitters, because he was not reading the field very well.
the most successful passes were dump/screen passes, that don't always work, so that is not a very good sign.
hopefully we can settle in with the next few opponents.

I love Weatherford..
...but he has two passes -- the check down and the jump ball. I can see teams dropping 8 in the zone again as the season goes on and forcing him to make the tough passes.

Ground game
Rushing yards through three quarters:

FSU: 2
Miami: -1

Love the defense these two schools play each and every year. Also loved Edge James' "Three years and out!" quote when interviewed by Holly Rowe.
