Tommy Bowden was fired by Clemson this morning. Clemson QB Cullen Harper texted ESPN reporter Joe Schad, and said "Good, it is what he deserved."

I can't help but think that wasn't the smartest thing he could have said...
He has the right to be angry for being benched, but I don’t think he’s doing himself any good by making comments like that on the record. Does this firing negate the QB decision Bowden made?

I agree Weasie
I know the O-Line at Clemson isn’t very good, but if Cullen had played like everyone thought he could play (I saw some magazine name him the ACC Offensive Player of the Year preseason), his coach wouldn’t be out of a job.

Blaming the guy sho left the program is very easy.
Tommy doesn’t have much of a voice now.

Not a good thing to say
Especially when you still have to play his daddy’s team.

The AD is now saying that Bowden stepped down on his own accord...
I haven’t been home to watch ESPN yet, but I’m sure someone is going to have a field day with his comment now.

I'm sure he left on his own accord, just like
Brandon Paul and Marcus Ball did…
Clemson insiders saying this decision was made late Friday.
