Idea
Has Givens been given his scholarship yet?
If not, I can’t think of a better way to pump up the team before the game (esp. given the circumstances) then by announcing he’s on scholly.
Oh wow. That would be awesome.
Jimbo said there are some rules regarding when you can give the scholarship, as the NCAA backdates it to the year the player joined (with respect to the max incoming class limit of 25). If we’re within that limit, that would be incredible.
Inspired defense.
Navy is just way outclassed here from a talent standpoint.
I will say that our offense is much more up-tempo and executes much quicker than ND. ND is VERY pro-style
FSU Sports Information Department puts out notes
even though they don’t recognize me as a media member, people send it to me.
I wonder if she's interested in younger guys after her divorce...
I wouldn’t make her hyphenate her name either. Well, maybe I would recommend she go by Stacey Dales-Hotness.
she's got a pretty face
but I’m not a fan of the basketball playing chicks. She’s too tall and too heavy for my liking.

If we're going to get into this...
I don’t know what you’re talking about with the heavy thing, but as for the height…I’m find with where my head would be if you know what I mean.
I like NC State to win.
From Jim Young:
I knew Russell Wilson has been playing very well for N.C. State of late, but I went to the stats to make sure I wasn’t exaggerating the redshirt freshman’s prowess. Trust me. I’m not. His first college game was cut short by an injury. He then naturally struggled in his first game upon returning from a concussion, against Clemson. Since then? Here’s the stat line over his next six games- 84 of 142 (59 percent) for 1004 yards, 10 TDS and ZERO interceptions. Yeah, I’d say he’s been a bright spot for the struggling Wolfpack.
I don't mean to take a shot at her...
I’d say the same thing about most of the ESPN crew. If I’m running ESPN, I have no clue why they haven’t started team blogs. I wouldn’t be surprised if you found a job offer coming in the mail some day soon.
I'd definitely decline after the work I put in with law school so far, ya know?
It’d be throwing it down the drain.
One of the worst picks ever thrown just happened in the South Carolina game.
I just threw up in my mouth
They just showed a panoramic view of NC State's Stadium
Looks completely full…Completely embarassing for us if were going to be primetime tonight
Dog in a Bathtub
i think guys are probably resorting to this technique at this point…
for those who know what that is…
Very good.
He’ll go pro in baseball after next year, which means we have to face him 1 more time— at home :)
Wish I had ESPNU. Relying on gametracker for that one

I don't understand tv...
you should be able to watch every football game you want. We pay enough for cable and have to sit through tons of commercials.
TN, ARK, Vandy, and if you can count the Georgia game in Jacksonville...

I guess I am saying that they are scarily dominant, but they’ve done it primarily via special teams scores and defensive scores. SC is doing a decent job on their OFFENSE. The gates hit a bomb td pass with obvious offensive pass interference.
I agree
Everyone is giving Tebow too much credit this year. It seems he has a short field to work with almost every time. Where did that defense come from? Remember, we were able to march it down the field on them in the first half last year, we just couldn’t convert on TD’s.

What about Miss?
Did they just get lucky? I was down in oxford this week for work and was asking them what they thought of that game. Every person there seems to think they should be undefeated this year.
I agree they are by far the best team.
They scare the piss out of me. We need a lot of things to go right in 2 weeks
I want us to play UGLY ball.
Running, running, running, going for 4th downs, not punting, holding the ball for long periods, maybe a long FG from gano
we gotta get to tebow and make his life miserable
you think our corners will be left 1 on 1 alot? trying to load the box to try and slow harvin?
damn
some soft D on that drive by State.

I did not see this game being a blowout in the first half. I figured SC would play it tough for the first half, but would eventually get worn down. Gotta give UF credit for converting on the turnovers. This will definitely give them some “style points”

Haha. Anyone remember him falling down when he was pumping up the crowd?
Gotta love his enthusiasm. We’ve needed that kind of attitude

It was on the kickoff, you know how he runs into the endzone jumping up and down. He just slipped. It was pretty hilarious watching it

What are the BCS rules?
With all of the Non-BCS conference teams this year, the BCS will take at least 1 of them as long as they finish in the top 12 or higher than a BCS conference Champ. Hypothetically, should the ACC champ finish outside of the BCS top 16, do they still get the automatic Orange Bowl bid should two Mid majors finish in the top 16?
Even if we somehow win ACC
Our Orange Bowl matchup won’t be that attractive.
Most likely Cincinatti, Boise, or Utah.
Still gotta take care of business....
And get some luck from Wake

Yeah..
Nice play, could have been bigger if the ball was thrown to the receiver in stride

8 o'clock games are tough
Waiting all day sucks. 330 kickoffs are great; you get to watch the noon games, and are done for the night games.
Anyone think we run 50+ times tonight, throw 15 screens, never risk anything and win on special teams, defense, and a long run/ screen or 2?
I hope not
I actually hope we come out slinging it.
BC’s safeties will be cheating for the run. I think Parker is going to have a HUGE game.
Hey guys
I am just kinda dropping in here but… predictions?
Well, I'll appreciate for you to keep my zingers outta your mouth!
FSU 26 BC 13
And the Yanks unfortunately getting either CC or Peavy :(

NOO!!
…to the latter. I hope CC and Peavy stay in the easy NL.
Well, I'll appreciate for you to keep my zingers outta your mouth!
Yeah
I would love to see the Sox go after one of them, but if they can’t get either, hopefully they make a nice offer to Teixera. Can you imagine Becket, CC, Lester, and Dice K??

Great comparison....I agree
You don’t have to be that old to remember him. I’m only 26 and I remember him as a Rookie in the NFL
23 here, haha
I was more talking about him as a young kid at Notre Dame.
Both were looked at as a wideout ad running back, both run upright.
Haha. Why do you have to limit the fun?

I have to write up the revised rules post.
No porn
No gratuitous cursing
No racial slurs
No homosexual slurs
everything else… pretty much okay. Try to keep the religion and politics stuff out too
Politics was a big problem on
Over The Monster. Visual porn is out? Any other kind? Imaginary?
Well, I'll appreciate for you to keep my zingers outta your mouth!
Teen thing.
My family gave away all the tickets for tonight. I am SO PISSED.
Well, I'll appreciate for you to keep my zingers outta your mouth!
HAHAHA.
I was just at the comic book store downtown…. Some unique magazines. In plain view of the cashier who eerily reminded me of Comic Book Guy.
Softcore?
Well, I'll appreciate for you to keep my zingers outta your mouth!
NC State 1st and 10 on their 19
Play action…Wilson scrambles right and throws the ball out of bounds
4th and 13
NC State Punts…high snap and was almost an awful punt
Side Note: After the sack Curry ran to the sidelines and took his helmet off immediately. It looks like one of those things you can stick your head in as a kid where you have a childs head and a different body.
3rd and 12
HUUUGEEE SACK….SKINNER THROWN DOWN!!!!!
Play should have been dead. Wake moved before the snap but they let it go.
are you guys rooting for UNC as well?
Assuming FSU makes it to the ACCCG, it would be nice to beat Miami again, but I’d rather they not get there at all. I’m hoping for a Heels-Noles CCG.
Blatent holding
Wake is holding on every play and they’re not calling it. State is getting nowhere near Skinner
Yeah...
Way to pick it. I’m glad we didnt have to rely on their game against BC

+4 CASHED :) Credit Jim young though, he convinced me:
I knew Russell Wilson has been playing very well for N.C. State of late, but I went to the stats to make sure I wasn’t exaggerating the redshirt freshman’s prowess. Trust me. I’m not. Everyone says Wilson stays 1 more year then goes pro.
Also, forgot to mention, Everette Brown is graduating in December… Kiss him goodbye
Giggity giggity goo!

Well, I'll appreciate for you to keep my zingers outta your mouth!
A Maryland win does not matter as long as we take care of business tonight and next week.
Alright guys, it’s time to start walking to the stadium. Can’t stop the Chop. Go ’Noles, and catch ya guys on the Dark Side, at the Blackout!
Who all DOESN'T have tickets?
Or am I by myself?
Well, I'll appreciate for you to keep my zingers outta your mouth!
I'm just 13
And my dad invited all of his friends. No room in the car, thanks anyway. I will actually be a little glad that i am in the warmth of my own house.
Well, I'll appreciate for you to keep my zingers outta your mouth!
Well regardless
I’ll seriously give my tickets to anyone who doesn’t have any. I dont care about money i’d rather the stadium be full.
Where are the seats?
I can’t take them, just wondering.
Well, I'll appreciate for you to keep my zingers outta your mouth!
Maryland wins. If we win this tonight, it will be FSU at 8-2, and Maryland at 8-2, for the Atlantic Division Title!
Don't forget guys, BLACKOUT!! WEAR BLACK!!
Well, I'll appreciate for you to keep my zingers outta your mouth!
