Who does Jermaine Thomas remind you of as a runner?
I immediately thought of Ricky Watters, but I'm sure I've missed someone closer.

Jermaine's presence should help to keep Smith fresher for the rest of the year.
Antone might be worn down right now. Maybe if Jermaine can get 8-12 touches per game, we can keep them both fresh for the stretch run.
I was impressed...
Keep feeding the kid the ball. I love Antone but Jermaine was effective against what I thought was a pretty good, well coached, fast defense. It won’t be the best we see this year, but like Vtech, these guys could play.
Hmmmm
I agree, he definitely reminds me of some other back, but I just can’t place it.
How's this?
Jeff Cheaney.
Both seem real wiry and don’t look very strong, but seem to have a knack for contorting to shed tackles. They have odd cuts and sometimes seem to be dodging imaginary players.
I remember him as a player
but I’m having trouble remembering what he ran like. His photo is similar to Thomas, in some ways.
Not the same build but...
Barry Sander (in college) ran similar stylistically
Both are shorter backs.
Both run straight up and down, not leaning into tacklers.
Both seem to be very patient in traffic and then sort of accelerate forward without looking like they are running that fast.
Both seem to simply run into people in traffic, bump off and keep going.
We even saw a spin move last week at Ga Tech.
Thomas not as fast in the open field though.
