Sorry, Zach

You had the right side tonight. One key to being a wagering for a living is to quickly recognize false positives. Boise was a false positive. I’d be wrong if I wagered Boise again under these same circumstances. TCU dominated this game.

It was a "no-touch" for me

I was going to lay tcu until I checked your pick!
Thanks for being right, as usual :)

Maybe I could help you out with NCAA basketball….I seem to be doing pretty well thus far.

be sure to chime in!

My goal in CBB is to play 600 or 700 games at slightly under 55%. I seem to be hitting stride a bit now.

CBB Lesson: reduce whatever value you assign to home court during winter break. Always make sure to check if the “home” team is just the home team by default, such as the “home” team playing in a winter tournament in Puerto Rico.

So true

I laid big on Marquette over NC State (in Raleigh) a couple nights ago.
Marquette is the better overall team, but if school was in session it would have been a no-touch for me.
I’m not sure how the crowd turned out, but the major factor for me laying Marquette was because of the holiday break.

I think GT, Miami and UNC lose, ACC goes 7-3

LSU just has too much time with too many athletes to figure out the triple option. And they can spend time on their young QB who showed some promise in the Arkansas game.

Miami will play close but Cal will prevail. Pat White will have a monster game in his final hurrah.

Hmm

That would be 1 fave losing, 1 dog losing, and UNC a pickem losing.

That also means NC State pulls the upset, Maryland pulls the mild upset, and VT pulls the mild upset.

I tend to think GT rolls LSU, as I don’t trust LSU’s coaching at at all. That said, they could gel in these 3 weeks.

Cal’s defense is very underrated.

I worry that WVU can’t stop the run at all, and thus my pick of UNC.
