Beautiful Day here in Tally. I live about 2 miles from Doak and let me tell you it is a grand day for football today. Light cool breeze in the air mixed with a gorgeous cloudless blue sky. Go Noles!

I should be here to liveblog this, but even if I am not, you guys are more than capable. Sign in when you get up.

Nigel isn't in beast mode yet, and that's a little concerning.  We also don't have the WWF clip yet.

is Nigel the one that will be sitting out this game as one of the three. If so someone better go kick him in the head to piss him off to get into beast mode. Ill be at work tell about 4:30 E so I might missed most of this game. Sucks to be me. Ill DVR it but I feel like crap because Ill have to watch the game like that. Prob just skip most of it because Ill have to know whats going on.

That's Nigel CARR

The Nigel we usually reference is Nigel BRADHAM.

Des, DVR is perfect.. Don’t delete it and then when I post up the “inside the Seminole film room”, you can follow along.

Is it possible to post a larger version of that picture?

I want to change my computer backdrop…I’m sick of looking at Drew on this Taking Back Saturday poster.

Pulled it from here:

Thanks

Any status updates on Beast mode?

by Weasie on Nov 8, 2008 11:57 AM EST up reply actions

Ponder and Smith

Anyone heard anything on their the status of their “injuries”? I’m hoping Ponder is back to being close to 100% so that he won’t be afraid to take off….

by Renegade11 on Nov 8, 2008 12:04 PM EST reply actions

He doesn't need to learn to slide...

I’d like to see him jump clear over a defender today and score.

He should have scored last week, but opted to try to throw it. Any evidence that suggest this was because he was hurt?

by Weasie on Nov 8, 2008 12:09 PM EST up reply actions

Downplaying

I think they have really been downplaying Ponder’s ribs these past couple weeks. Not sure exactly when he hurt them but you can tell its been affecting his decision making process…

by Renegade11 on Nov 8, 2008 12:12 PM EST up reply actions

I think he hurt them in the Miami game

but it’s tough to remember now.

He at least needs to establish the threat of running in order to freeze the backside defender on the zone and especially the stretch play.

still no word on beast mode yet. last week it was to early this week hes going late. I dont like the looks of that. Its ok though becasue I beleave.

RollinNole that is excellent!

No sign of rain is good for us! (despite the Miami win, I still hate rain games)

For anyone watching GT- UNC...

GT is totally outplaying them. UNC is up 21.

UNC tries an awesome trick play— QB walks off in disgust and snaps his chin strap,— direct snap to RB.
Warner ran this for the Rams in the 2000(?) playoffs against the Eagles.

Are you calling the game today?

Internet system was stolen, so I’m stuck in the office tonight :(

by DOCB on Nov 8, 2008 3:10 PM EST up reply actions

Doc, I will call it for ya, but it might be a bit delayed.

Living in Bama, we have some folks here who will want to catch some Bama @ LSU as well.

I’ll post each drive at the very least and offer commentary, but it’ll probably be of the “250 post variety”, not the 1200 post Miami monster.

If there is a lapse, follow along on espn.com, yahoo, or cstv.

Also, there might be a chance you can catch it on:

I’ll do my best.

The students are late getting in-- again. The system this year is really, really bad.

Takes forever to get them in.

I’d say this Crowd is about 73-74K. The Alumni section— one which doesn’t fight those crazy long lines— looks pathetic as usual.

by Bud Elliott on Nov 8, 2008 3:31 PM EST reply actions

In other games...

Bama fumbled through the end zone for a Touchback.

Iowa 7-0 on PSU.

by Bud Elliott on Nov 8, 2008 3:45 PM EST reply actions

If anyone here has any influence, please, for the love of God, ask the coaches not to use Tony or PRob to retun punts.

They arne’t good return guys and we can’t afford to lose them.

This isn’t aboutt he fumble, it’s about the need to keep them healthy.

by Desman on Nov 8, 2008 4:56 PM EST reply actions

by Renegade11 on Nov 8, 2008 5:18 PM EST reply actions
