Went to the game tonight

FSU was just completely lost at the plate tonight. Got to hand it to Bucknell’s Mathew Wilson, he had the batters dazed and confused up there. As someone that is a pretty big baseball fan, I don’t think I’ve seen a team take as many strikes as FSU did tonight. It was awful. Towards the 8th, we were basically rooting for Wilson to get the complete game. Looked in to it tonight when I got home, he’s a senior that had a mediocre year, doesn’t have much of a chance to go anywhere, that was just an awesome outing for him. I’ll be rooting for Bucknell when they’re not playing FSU as long as they’re in it.
Their shortstop Ben Allen was remarkable in the field too.

I haven’t watched much FSU baseball this season, it’s been tough to keep up with it, but Buster Posey is really good. He’s got one hell of an arm, and his plate judgment is really good, considering how much trouble everyone was having tonight.

FSU’s strategy of holding off on Fairel doesn’t look too good after the bad outing Parker gave us.

Typical Mike Martin Post-Season Coaching...

...for some odd reason he stresses taking pitches in the post season and that scouting report gets passed around so you see guys taking 82 MPH strikes and getting into 0-2 holes.
