Elih Villaneuva , a Miami native, will get the start today and it's one he really covets.
Meanwhile this is the seventh elimination game FSU has played during this CWS and of course they are 6-0 so far, scoring 99 runs in the process.

Why do we do this 20 times? What happened with the Noles in Omaha. Why dont we ever bunt? Especially with guys like Rye and Tapley who are in a slump? At least fake it so the infield comes in and then a hit might have a chance? What is it with our coaching?

If there was one reason they lost these two games
it’s that Martin showed he has no idea how to use his pitchers. He just completely wasted Strauss in game 1, and there was absolutely no reason to take Gast out in the 9th.
