Bellamy Done for the Season....

....I hope this is not a trend..

ESPN.com's Heather Dinich reports that offensive lineman Evan Bellamy will miss the 2008 season with a blood clot in his leg.

Bellamy was hospitalized for the clot late last week. This will open up the spot for an incoming freshman, most likely Andrew Datko or Zebrie Sanders, to walk in and take a spot with the starting five.

I thought all the linemen were underclass man. I read the artical and it sucks that someone like him has to go down like that. I hope the best. I thought I read he didnt get a flag thrown on him in the bowl game. With everything eles going on he will surly be missed.

They are underclassmen...

...but the incoming freshmen are part of that group. I think Datko or Sanders is best suited to play admirably at that positon. Will Furlong is already set at guard on the other side.
