Oregon has Chip Kelley, the finest offensive mind in the college game, locked up for their HCIW spot. They're handling this well. Their coach has a fairly reasonable timeline to vacate the position. Further, they are letting their heir apparent make decisions about the coaching staff. Publicly! These firings and new hirings are mostly related to philosophy and recruiting ability. If only Jimbo had the ability to fire Chuck Amato, maybe we wouldn't alienate so many head coaches on the recruiting trail.
