We lost today and last week and believe you me I hate it as much as anyone here. "But why did we lose? Is it something that can be fixed this season? Are coaches to blame?" Everyone who faithfully tunes in on Saturday to watch the Seminoles wonder.
Many factors contributed to our loss today but I am happy to report that the main cause was not coaching or player heart or game site. We were definitely the victim of a few bad calls that disheartened the defense....particularly the pass interference call late in the fourth that was basically an early Christmas present to BC.
Our players played well enough for 14 minutes for us to win the game so it show hope for the rest of the season.
I see FSU as a sleeping giant that has great potential that may or may not wake up in time to rescue the coaching staff.
Should Bobby be forced out? No. That would be a slap in the face of Seminole tradition. Should he step down? The answer to that is obvious.
Is Jimbo the answer to our dilemma? I think he deserves a chance to show his true coaching abilities. Unfortunately, since the past two season's performance by the team will probably result in recruiting difficulties his chance will be foreshadowed and doomed.
I look forward to a fresh start.
