* The University has been discussing Bobby's future but they have not yet met with Bobby Bowden. That should happen this afternoon.
* Bowden would not address anything today in the weekly booster luncheon. It was one of the most uncomfortable luncheons in memory.

Andrew not happy with play in 1st half
gave the stats.
blitzed on 3 yard pass for TD.
Prior to that, had 3 people in the wrong gap (for 62 yard gain). That’s poor coaching, not doing it right in practice.
38 yard td pass… great coverage, but should have punched player inside, but was looking back at QB (kinda unlucky)
final one came with 59 seconds in the half, had safety very deep, had freshman safety in there, just didn’t read the play right. (He’s right here, good call)
he's a proud man who earned his laurels
but was talked into staying in a bad situation he’s not capable fo handling.

28 plays where they gained a yard or less
(need to check to see if this was when they were in prevent offense)
Reduced the number of missed assignments and missed tackles
but some of them really hurt.
Blasted Mangum for missing the tackle.
We’ll find somebody who can make that tackle.
We’ll find someone who will run through the right gap.
Our guys try too hard to make a play but it leads to them giving up a play.
It's my job to put them in the position to make plays
We have too much talent to be 2-3 and that is my fault.
Think they are just being nice...too nervous to ask tough questions?

also Manny Diaz who use to be an asst. coach at FSU 98-99 (now D-coor. at Mid Tenn. st) might replace CTC

He played it exactly like we wanted him to.

The older guy knew what to do, he just didn't get it done

What did you learn fom Saban? Control only what you can control.
The thing he taught me is how to be very systematic. What can I control? How we practice, how we prepare.

maybe we get in spread. i need to learn from it and use our personnel better. we don’t have to do what everyone does.

We didn't sneak because of how they pinched.
Goal-line is different than short yardage. B/c no fear of over the top.
We have good talent, it's very young talent, we press too much and guys try too hard
possibly too much pressure b/c defense will give up score?
so from what Im getting is we still have to wait tell the end of the season for word on BB

Ann Bowden is the worst
She battled to keep JB here for years. He would have been gone via a buyout a few years earlier, but she goes to the boosters and raises hell about it. I heard that from a Golden Chief in the president’s box of a game I was at circa 2006. He told me she was worse then JB and BB combined, and I believe it.

Saying Ponder isn't avoidng interceptions by failing to take chances. He is taking smart risks.

Jimbo’s got Ponder reading these soft zones (cover 3) and will these < 12 yard corner and comebacks all day. The TDs will come.

double moved the safety, had the safety pushed out. The throw was dead on. It wasn’t triple coverage, he was open and it’s a play we have to make. It was inches perfect, but those are the ones you must fight for.
