Gameday crew just discussed the Bowden post game press conference...

It does seem like there is a shift in the media’s coverage of our situation here.

The words “troubling, disoriented, seemed to be somewhat unclear of the details of the game” came from Chris Fowler …..Lee agreed.

Chris also said, “the seminoles could use a couple of wins”

Corso said “they could, but they won’t”

Crew agrees no bowl for the Seminoles, and no W against WF

by jasonole59 on Nov 14, 2009 10:40 AM EST reply actions

At this point we have to hope we don't bowl for Bobby to be gone.

Pains me to say it but I may root against us this game, because there is no way we beat UF and well then its irrelevant if we beat UMD at that point.

by FSownsU on Nov 14, 2009 10:52 AM EST reply actions

Well, I would like for EJ to have a great first start, just as a confidence builder.

…but I guess we’ve learned this year that the QB can be fantastic and still lose, so they aren’t mutually exclusive.

I still can’t wish for a loss.

Online viewing?

Does anyone know of an online sight that will show the game live. I am stuck at work and don’t get ESPNU, so I can’t tape it. I really hate to miss EJ’s first start. Thanks!

whats the deal what time is it est?

Well, gosh, it's a weight off of everybody. I think everybody that is an FSU fan or a coach or a player, this takes a weight off the shoulder. But what does that mean? Seven more days of peace?

damn we must have dlst before you guys it was only a 6 hr difference last week

Funny thing is...

Im in Tally this weekend. I would think it would have a local viewing…

by Miaminole on Nov 14, 2009 11:59 AM EST up reply actions

let's get our run game going

and keep our ‘defense’ on the bench as much as possible and keep some of the pressure of EJ

by NCAROLINANOLE on Nov 14, 2009 11:54 AM EST reply actions

Jimbo will call for EJ to go deep sideline in the first offensive series, hopefully on the first play, but probably on the first series.

I don’t think EJ will throw 2 picks. He will surprise us today and JT will go over 100 yds for the 3rd straight week.

The defense will force 5 punts today, which will be enough to squeeze one out.

FSU 38 -WF 34.

If I am wrong, I will sign up for WC.

Period!

by FrankDNole on Nov 14, 2009 11:58 AM EST reply actions

that's a huge bet my friend

to risk signing up for WC. i do agree that EJ will throw the ball a good bit right off the bat to make Wake think about it the rest of the game

by NCAROLINANOLE on Nov 14, 2009 11:59 AM EST up reply actions

Ok EJ

lets see whatcha got

PRob returning KOffs?

by FrankDNole on Nov 14, 2009 12:03 PM EST reply actions

Why's Pat returning kicks?

We need him healthy because our secondary is atrocious outside of him and Greg Reid.

I’m liking the short-ish, high-percentage throws at the start. Get EJ in a groove.

Hey, just a FYI

Jags, Cardinals, and Rams all have scouts in attendance today. I know they’re all looking at Patrick Robinson in particular, not sure who else.

blown sack notwithstanding

I’ve been impressed with Riley Skinner for years. He is an underated leader on the field

by Okinole on Nov 14, 2009 12:26 PM EST reply actions

Well, some positives...

A couple of 3rd downs, and the defense is getting pressure on Skinner (doesn’t matter if he can’t tackle)

by DamonH on Nov 14, 2009 12:26 PM EST reply actions

Someone mentioned scouts watching PRob

I’m assuming the coaches allowed it to help his draft stock.
