Around SBN: Off Tackle Empire interviews Rich Rodriguez

Christian Ponder had successful shoulder surgery to repair damage resulting from his Grade-3 shoulder separation suffered against Clemson. He is expected to return for limited non-contact action in Spring. Shoulders are a funny surgery, but with rest and rehab, the ACC's top passer should once again be 100%.

Also, Florida State @ Florida will be the site of ESPN's College Gameday

Good news and bad news

Good news that Ponder is done with surgery and healing. Bad news in that FSU and the circus at our program will take center stage on Gameday. I can’t wait for this season to be over and I never say that. *sigh

good news about ponder

Now, what is the over/under on the times the Gameday crew says something to the effect of “this game has lost a lot of its luster?”

Glad the surgery went well

Very unhappy that gameday will be in Gainesville

This season has really lacked marquee match-ups.

It is a down year for a lot of rivalries. UT-OU, USC-ND, Mich-OSU, UM-FSU, UF-FSU, UF-UGA, Aub.-Ala, and OU-Neb to name a few.

Really sad news,

Tallahassee Democrat FSU beat writer Steve Ellis who had a heart attack last week passed away after surgery yesterday.

Condolences to his family.

GameDay Schedule

I have this on good authority. Linda Cohn is my aunt…

1045-1100 Tebow highlights – 1 yd TD runs
1100-1115 Tebow highlights – Celebrations
1115-1120 Footage of concussion vs Kentucky. Praise and Laud toughness.
1120-1130 Tebow interview.
1130-1140 Footage of Tebow/Lundquist/Danielson 3 way (edited for content)
1140-1145 Discuss other matchups around the country
1145-1150 Discuss Tebow’s draft status

no way the 3 way lasted 10 minutes

Gary was done before he took his pants off.

This makes me want to swallow a handful of Vicodin with a 5th of vodka.

I can’t wait for the highlight compilation of Tebow spazzing out like a 6 year-old at a Build-a-Bear workshop after converting opening drive, 3rd downs against FCS teams set to R Kelly’s ‘I Believe I Can Fly’. It will be epic.

Either way, I just hope someone has the cajones to say on camera what they really think about Bowden

One last thing

It’s sad because they aren’t going for UF-FSU, they’re going for Tebow’s final home game

I hope that we sent all out blitzes every play

and that Nigel Bradham goes into beast mode and destroys Tim Tebow. It’s not like they’re not going to score 60 points anyway.
