Twitter?

I really hope Ponder is the only player using twitter. I don’t trust the rest of our guys to keep their foots out of their mouths. LOL

As for the actual announcement, I’m sure it means he’s coming back. At the best, he’ll be playing hurt against Clemson which is one of his last chances to put up a big performance against a strong D.

Long time reader, first time poster.

You’ll notice on the side of his twitter, it says “Official Florida State Football, blah blah, seminoles.com”, so I’m sure it’s all screened and he can’t say whatever he wants.
I’m willing to bet it’s just an announcement about special edition uniforms for the Maryland game. Collect that Nike check.

Welcome!

I think you’re right, probably pimping something for seminoles.com

Never thought about uni's

But some type of an announcement to honor Mickey at the last home game is what came to mind.

Another excerpt from the email I received from FSU's SID

While it is unfortunate that Christian’s remarkable season to date will not get the full recognition it deserves, as a Florida State fan you can rest assured that the sports information office continues to promote the outstanding performances and good deeds of its players to the fullest. This weekend we will be launching a Twitter page to promote Ponder’s excellence, which you will be able to follow @cponder7. This should enhance his presence nationally for future awards.

It looks like FSU will be the one tweeting on Ponder’s behalf.

I'm sure it's all a publicity for something like the unis

1) it’s too soon for an announcement on returning
2) If it was something to honor Andrews, it’s more likely somebody like Dekota Watkins doing it
3) funny about announcing the new DC…

from seminoles.com

Florida State and Nike will reveal a limited edition uniform that the Seminoles will wear against Maryland on November 21 today at 3:00 p.m. on Seminoles.com. The uniform will include the debut of remarkable new Nike technology so stay tuned.

what a let down. Though I guess it's better than him saying he's going pro.

Knowing the NCAA they will probably suspend him for speaking on behalf of nike.

by tdchrisdavis on Nov 5, 2009 12:12 PM EST up reply actions

Remarkable new Nike technology ?

Is it a smart exo-suit? Can it make our defense play better? Make our DL bigger and stronger and our safeties and corners faster? And increase our defense’s football IQ?

Probably another jinxed color scheme. Meh.

Where is this listed on Seminoles.com?

I can’t find it. Not that I don’t believe, I just wanted to send a link to a buddy of mine cause he was wondering about the announcement.

I really do

NOT want to promote anymore uniform gimmicks. The result usually has been unfavorable

P.S. Anyone have two extra Clemson tickets? If so, let me know ASAP! Thanks guys
