Ok first try wasn't long enough.  Dang I didn't know I'd get a warning for posting too short a Fanpost I thought it wouldn't let you publish if it was too short.  Anyway.  My point remains. A lot of people have said that our great success during the 90's was helped immensely by UF and Miami being put on probation. 

It feels like now all of a sudden like FSU is coming off a 10 year long probation.  UF's success has been based during a period where both UM and FSU were in severe down periods.  I'm not really sure how close UM is since I haven't paid much attention to them but for us it's like all of a sudden we're back and ready to play big boy college football.

I think this is undoubtedly going to hurt UF long term since they will no longer be able to cherry pick the best talent without some competition. 

I think recruits always wanted to come here but really with the serious lack of coaching talent and instability who can blame them.  With competent coaching and infrastructure I think we could definitely compete with anyone in the nation.
