Elam Rumors-Will This Finally End Them?
Dwyer tailback/linebacker Matt Elam, one of the nation's top-rated prospects, went on TV live late Sunday night and said he's sticking with his verbal commitment to Florida despite recent rumors that he might back off the Gators and sign with Florida State or even perhaps Tennessee.
-and-
For what it's worth, Elam told WPTV-Channel 5 sportscaster Jay Gilmore and listeners to the West Palm Beach NBC affiliate's late Sunday night sports segment that his commitment to UF is solid. When Gilmore questioned Elam about his commitment and asked what school he really was planning on signing with, Elam looked at the camera and gave the Gator Chomp.
-also-
The Elams visited UF on a recruiting trip this past weekend, and Matt Elam said they visited with Urban Meyer at Meyer's home in Gainesville.
Wonder if Jimbo Fisher or Lane Kiffin were brought up at any time during their visit?

This is all part of Luc and Elam's grand master scheme
Tell everyone that you’re going to UF, get on Meyer’s good side, then change it all up on NSD to get all over ESPN’s front page… again.
Both Elam and Luc are EE's
Will be in school sometime in January
It's a beautiful day in Tallahassee
I also saw we lost Dorsey
to Ole Miss. You win some, you lose some. I still think we need more DL help. What are the odds of landing Lemonier??

I’m going to hold out hope, far fetched though it may be. If I am a kid with a difficult decision to make and don’t want to take any flack over it, I don’t announce a switcheroo a week in advance. I wouldn’t want to have to deal with a week of fighting people off especially if it is a tough decision involving someone I’ve known for a long time or that may cause some rumblings in the family. I’m not expecting a change, but it is a nice surprise to hope for. I didn’t expect an announcement from him before the 18th. FSU was never leading. So if he doesn’t come, it’s no big loss. In the meantime, it would be nice to get Lemonier or Jones.
