Former FSU DB Tony Carter placed on Bronco's active roster

Cornerback Ty Law is questionable with a hamstring injury. The agent for cornerback Tony Carter said Carter will be placed on the active roster this week, which could be a sign Law might be held out. The Broncos didn’t announce any roster moves Friday.

I thought he was pretty good.
He is a little small, but he made plays. That is the exact opposite I can say for a certain Rhode’s scholar we had playing along with him… Good for TC if this is true.
He didn't make that many plays.
I thought he was pretty solid in coverage, but not great or a playmaker. And Rolle helped a lot in the run support. Its a pretty substancial piece of the puzzle…just look at the decline with Mangum playing his position…
he did make plays
On the teams he played on he was one of the few that did. I suppose it is all relative because those weren’t great playmaking Ds, but I remember him scoring at least 3-4 TDs, a number of big picks and FRs and some special teams stuff like blocked kicks and returns. I also think he was much maligned because the problems that are so obvious now were starting when he played — little pass rush and stuck on an island in a scheme that was unfair to CBs. As you say, not great but good enough to stick in the NFL in the right situation. I also respect MR more now as I begin to understand how much he had to do as a coach on the field and covering for other people in addition to his job.
im happy for him, dont get me wrong...but...
whatever big plays he made were nullified with 3 or 4 stupid plays, its like 1 step forward 2 steps back……but when he made a big play it was usually pretty good

Carter was solid and was the best corner even when playing opposite PRob
He’s just small. Maybe he turns into another Everson Walls.
Was my comment erased?
If so, why? I was not meaning to offend anyone. I was just offering my opinion…

Or maybe you hit preview instead of post and never finalized the post.
I did that a few times way back when (…a few weeks ago).

It's a beautiful day in Tallahassee
Hope he can stick
maybe he’ll get the opportunity to make some plays.
