First in, to say...
… thanks for putting this together and thanks to Coach Bowden for all he has done for FSU.
Just told surprised my 3 kids this AM with Gator Bowl tickets. I’m so happy to be there for that historic moment.
Merry Christmas to all!
Great present!
What an awesome surprise… you are a great parent!!!!
Good deals are still out there but you need to hurry. I shopped around and found this site which allowed me to compare and find a sweet unexpected deal:

Wow
Memories etched in my mind forever. Thanks Coach Bowden for the many years of great football on Saturdays. I enjoyed your straight forward comments and was never a hater when it came to the rough times. I supported you then and now. As the final seconds run off the game clock at the Gator Bowl, may we all rise, rise high FSU nation and fans of our greatest American sport, a final and loud cheer for our coach Bowden! Thanks coach! Go Noles!!

Wish things ended differently
I would have loved to see him go out on top. For how much I wanted to see Jimbo take over, just as much wanted to see him go out the way he wanted.
The Gator Bowl will definitely be bittersweet.
THE FINEST
greatest college football coach ever
Jan 1 will heal a lot of wounds...
So glad I’m able to take my young kids. My first grader doesn’t understand the magnitude of what is about to take place, but 50 years from now I want him to be able to tell his grandkids he was at Bobby’s last game. Let’s win one for coach. Wear garnet, no sitting down, and bring the noise! Scalp’em.
Cool to see the older pics...
In some of them, he looks a lot like Tommy.
Thanks Coach for everything.
Bobby happy his wife spoke out

“One of the boosters [Jim Smith] said that he loved Bobby Bowden, but he loved FSU more,” she said. “Well, that goes two ways. I love FSU, but I love my husband more. I didn’t do anything for Bobby that any wife who loved her husband wouldn’t have done.”
“He had a lot of seniors coming, back, especially Bobby’s quarterback [Christian Ponder], and he wanted the chance to coach them one more time,” she said. “But now that we know he won’t, we at least know what’s going to happen. I think Bobby will be sad about the week of the game. To me, it will be a relief.”
I note that Ponder is “Bobby’s” quarterback now days.
One more week of FSU held hostage!
" Fisher’s approach to building a winner is lifted from Saban’s playbook. Right down to the terminology such as becoming more "process oriented" as opposed to "results oriented."
" Nick and I are friends," he said. "That guy is one of the best football coaches I’ve ever been around. God knows he’s brilliant. … A lot of the things he believes are a lot of things I believe. We’re very similar!

Ponder
Hadn’t they planned to basically keep Ponder on the bench and fill out the roster?

Exactly!
But Ann seems to have forgotten according to Bobby, Ponder was a scholarship filler. This woman can’t keep her mouth shut. The article points out that BB never told his wife what to say. Maybe he should have.

Bobby and Ann should know
FSU fans won’t fail to come to the rescue of Florida State either.

LOL mounty fans are a hoot!
I apologize Bud I keep telling them I have no affiliation with Tomahawknation but it doesn’t sink in. Apparently the mounties are not fans.
“Oh that’s what Bobby said huh…. well prove it. Quit running your psycho chops and prove something for once that doesn’t come from that slanderous website that you apparently own by spamming here so much with their crap. Prove Bobby said Ponder was a program filler. Go ahead……….. or shut up dude and quit trying to tarnish the only winner your program has ever had.”
