You all forget that rule 23.4a in ACC play says that
no fouls may be called on teams wearing blue in the last 90 seconds of a game

He was chasing down Paulus on the inbound.
Hurt his lower right leg. The injury was not obvious as to exactly what happened.
It hurts more when you lose because you didnt execute a real strategy in the 2nd half
The whole offensive strategy in the 2nd half was bush league
if we hit a 3 when we were down 5 and we foul and they only make 1 free throw then its a one possession game

You must play your percentages. They are something like 97 98% at that point.

We were 12.5 pt dogs in this game, Duke is a much better team

and we both know that hamiltons coaching can be suspect/poor closing games

and the refs arent from the ACC. We will beat them by double digits.
I really don;t want to play them in the ACC Tourney or NCAA.
I would prefer to play the team that upsets them the game before. At this point, we are not a better team. We have more talent, but we are not a better team.
That is mostly spite talking. I just hate them, and would love to end their season.

We did what we needed to do. I don’t think anyone reasonably expected us to win at Duke.

It shows we can hang where ever we play, but i wish the box outs were better and the strategy down the stretch was better
I liked the going inside,
hated the 3 by Toney after we had scored going inside on 4 of the previous 5 trips.
I think Pomeroy predicted we have an 11% chance of winning this game...
As much as it hurts, I’m ok with this outcome…not happy…but I’ll take it. Shows we can play a close game on the road in the ACC
The Raycom feed got horrible at the end.
I missed the last 2 minutes waiting for the feed to buffer. It is still stuck at 25 secs. Some day I will be able to afford a real cable package with ESPNU.
I am also proud of our guys.
We came up short tonight, but we fought until the end against a very good Duke team on the road.
Tough one to swallow
You’ve got play pretty flawless to overcome the elements in Cameron (I’m not talking about those painted up nerds). The T’s really get me. No way in hell those go the other way. We’ve big technicals called on us our last three trips to Cameron. That sucks.
I swear Duke players have elbow magnets in their faces or something.
Just because someone gets hit, does not make it a foul. If you put your face next to someone’s elbow every time down the floor, you deserve to get your grill rearranged.
I hope that lurch-looking piece of crap Kyle Singer loses teeth when they play UNC. Try scoring a basket without pushing off, Kyle.

Amazing that Duke can have at least 2 guys with 3 fouls apiece before the first half is done… and that they both finish the game with 3 fouls.

They were so whistle happy
on both teams. You have to allow them to play. That was just absurd.
That technical was ridiculous. Alibi does need to learn to control his emotions, but give me a break.
