Nope. Serious.
Leonard Hamilton, who led the Florida State men’s basketball team to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1998 and to the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament championship game for the first time in school history, has been named the National Coach of the Year by Basketball Times.
So I guess he can be called
Coach around here now?

Show’s over, folks. Tip your waitress.
Hey, it’s great for recruiting, but he sure is getting plenty of rub off of Toney. If they were so impressed, then High Times or Basketball Times or whatever could have just given Toney Player of the Year while they were at it. Good for Coach Ham though.
Yep. I was wrong I think.
Is he a good strategist? No. Is he a great recruiter, considering out school? Yes. It’s important to judge him as a whole.
I still have my doubts.
I’m not sure how highly I regard the opinion of Basketball Times.
Joe and Hank’s Basketball and Fishing magazine could name him Coach of the Century for all I care, doesn’t mean he can diagram more than one decent out of bounds play to win a game to save his life.
