Please keep human trash off college football teams! (U. North Carolina)

I understand that a lot of times these kids come from difficult situations, but having sex with a 14-year old while your brother and a friend rob her house is not a lapse in judgement. It is a complete lack of moral character.

Report: Angelo Hadley "set up" 14-year-old girl during burglary

This makes CJ Mizell seem like a choir boy. This type of thing makes me sick. I have no tolerrance for felony arrests. Why is he just now being released from the team? "Angelo Hadley also was arrested April 5 and charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious battery with the 14-year-old girl, then was released on $15,000 bail. " Was there still a glimmer of hope that he could plea out and make it up to UNC in time for summer workouts?

I only hope Jimbo and staff will be able to sniff out these types of kids before they are tied to the University and are offered the priveledge of a college scholarship. I don't care if our talent pool suffers, there are plenty on guys out there with skills and character. Just ask Warrick Dunn and Derrick Brooks. I am not talking about a kid getting into a fight or underage drinking, but serious offenders. Any felony arrests (Willie Downs) seriously concern me. You can't make broad strokes of judgement based on a sigle arrest, but it should be a big red flag. We don't need human trash that will probably not last more than 2 years anyway. Guys like Angelo Hadley need to be kept off the streets, let alone, college campuses.

Maybe I got the wrong guy.

I know one of the new guys did. Not CJ, but someone else. FSUn mentioned it.

TBF,

I edited the topic title so people don’t think you were talking about one of our kids. Hope that is okay. If not, lemme know. I just think this is clearer.

no prob

As far as I am concerned it applies to a lot of programs right now. This has nothing to do with Wade, even though he is a waste of a scholarship. Missing a court date for a fight is petty compared to what Hadley did.
