Florida State Wide Receiver arrested for 2008 incident, suspended indefinitely
Florida State University football coach Bobby Bowden today that he was suspending RsSr wide receiver Richard Goodman following his arrest for his involvement in the infamous brawl that took place in FSU's student Union last fall.

22 year-old Goodman turned himself in to the Leon County Jail Tuesday Night on a warrant for his arrest obtained by the FSU police department. He is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon causing great bodily harm, a second-degree felony punishable by up to 15 years. Goodman is now out on bond.
Florida State Athletics Department policy:
a player charged with a felony is not permitted to represent Florida State Athletics in game competition until such time as the charge is resolved and the player has met all conditions for reinstatement imposed by the court, university and athletics department.
Longtime FSU fans will remember this as the "prayin for a misdemeanor" quote from legendary FSU coach Bobby Bowden.
Goodman is a Redshirt Senior and was expected to see some playing time in 2009, but not as a starter. He missed last season with a medical redshirt.
Bert Reed and Cameron Wade were charged in the brawl back in November.
