Tomahawk Nation's Florida State Seminoles Recruiting Map

It's a map.  It shows where our members live (by username and zip code, not real name and street address), and where the prospects FSU is recruiting play.  Come September, you can check out these future Seminoles under the Friday Night Lights!  Let us know how they looked!  Even if you can't make it out to see them live, watch for them on your local news or read about them in your local newspaper.  Let us (and other members of the Tomahawk Nation) know how these kids did!  Maybe even watch a local high school game with other Seminoles fans and Tomahawk Nation members!

View Tomahawk Nation Florida State Seminoles 2010 Recruiting Map in a larger map

Key:

  • BLUE Marker= Member of Tomahawk Nation
  • GREEN Marker= Recruit with Florida State Scholarship Offer
  • RED Marker= Recruit Committed to Florida State
  • MAGENTA Marker= 2011 Recruit

As to not waste our member's time, only recruits who are seriously considering FSU have been included.

Did we miss a recruit?  Did you give us your zip code yet?  Let us know!

Have fun obsessively stalking observing these recruits this Fall!

A word to our "scouts"

If you’re able to observe any of these kids, keep in mind the level of talent they’re playing against. I played ball for a school that made everyone look like Michael Vick…oh wait, I did play against him. Right. But still, keep in mind the quality of opponent.

How do we not have any TN readers in the S. Fla area?!?

That’s our recruiting hotbed! Un, maybe you could post your website on Sun Sentinel blogs? I found this site through your posts on Andrew Carter’s blog.

I think there was a lack of response to the initial request for zip codes.

I’ll try to put it in a relevant post from AC. Don’t wanna spam his site with unrelated material.

I'm here in Fort Lauderdale right now.

But I’m in Tallahassee starting August. I’m pretty sure I saw David Perry at a Wendy’s a couple of weeks ago. He’s a tall kid, but he’s thin right now.

Just wants to beat the Gators

True, but I don't think it will be long.

Anybody know exactly what his off the field issues are. I’ve heard rumors but don’t like spreading crap.

Yeah I knew it wasn't that

Lincoln gets there guys qualified (see Rouse,Fred) so I can’t imagine the academics are too out of line.

Buck allen

I go to Lincoln, Buck’s an amazing player, exciting to watch. Off the field, he hasnt been in too much trouble that I’ve heard about, at least nothing too serious. Shame that he broke his leg this year, Lincoln probably would have made a return trip to the state title game. Would love to see him in garnet and gold!

Creepy, yes.

But between this and your graphic description of the FSU campus dating life of the 1970’s, I’m starting to like this FrankD character more and more. Giggity.

32092, St. Augustine might have a prospect or two but none on FSU’s level. I will check their schedule and see who is on it.

I'd add mine but ...

I don’t have a zip code – I have a Postal Code (I’m in Toronto) and I don’t think we’re after anyone in my parts (or ever have been for that matter) – am including Naughton McKay-Loshcher (sp). I honestly haven’t been to a HS game in years – last time was during the Kerry Carter days (Stanford and bounced around the NFL for a few years – not sure he’s still in the league – including for the Seahawks).

Way to represent Toronto, shame theres not enough of us to make the map, haha.

Just a suggestion

could you add this page (or at least the map) to the left hand column somewhere – I guess under the special pages section? That way when this topic scrolls off the front page it will still be able to be accessed easily.

what’s the name of the FSU recruit in the raleigh NC area??
i’ll find out what i can about him
I saw that joshua barbour kid from south johnston play last fall he’s solid.
there was another kid named daniel atkins that they had playing DT and LB that was sick.
i have looked for him on the recruiting sites but no luck
the barbour kid isn’t rated yet but i’d guess a very strong 3 or weak 4 rumor is he is going to UNC

Ohio Recruiting Question

Outside of the kid from Avon Lake, are there any other big name recruits from Ohio that FSU is considering? I’ll be honest i really don’t pay much attention to HS football around here only because i’m not from Ohio originally and where i went to high school ( up in Boston), high school football wasn’t a big deal. But i would be interested in checking some out if there are any.

I know there are some elite programs that are perennialy in the top tier of high school football rankings, ex. St Ignatius (Cleveland), Elder (Cincinnati), St. Xavier ( Cincinnati) but i couldn’t tell you any names.

This is exciting. I’m in Houma, LA, and New Orleans is only 45 minutes away so I’ll keep a close eye on both of these big DT. They play each other this coming season which should be a very good game.

I don’t spend too much time on the recruiting trail, so if anyone wants to assign games to watch recruits in this area this fall, I wouldn’t mind doing it. I have been meaning to watch a Grady High game in midtown. Looks like a lot of fun. Speaking of Grady H.S., are they any good?
