Tomahawk Nation Mobile!
From a blog with 50 hits a day last June to this. We are always working to evolve our platform here at Tomahawk Nation and we have two exciting new features to announce this morning: Mobile Commenting and the ability to retweet posts that you find interesting.
Note: this is NOT the backdoor method that a our tech team rigged up for a few of use to use a while ago. This is something new and EASY. Really easy.
We are very excited to introduce mobile commenting to the platform. You can now sign in to each blog you are a member of and comment in GameThreads from the game or the bar or participate in an interesting discussion happening on a blog from anywhere with your phone.!!
There are two things to note in this release of mobile commenting. First, mobile login is not network wide. You must sign into each community individually. Second, we did some cross browser testing with as many phones as possible, but we cannot test each phone. It works with all of the major smartphone models (Palm 750p, 750, 800, Blackberry curve, straight, oblong, etc.) If you have any issues with mobile commenting please let us know at support@sbnation.com or using the contact form at the bottom of each page in the network. Please be sure to provide your phone model and browser type along with a very detailed description of the problem in your email.
We are also very excited about the new retweeting feature. If you see a post that you find interesting and want to share it via twitter, now you can with just one click rather than copying and pasting the link. This is a great way to spread the word about the 'Noles!
We're excited to see how you use the new features! Test it out today!

Yeah, I tested on the Dunkley thread...
This is great news, but I have to say that TN was already consuming ALOT of my time.
For the record, It works on the LG Dare VX-9700
I'm screwed
This will kill any possible productivity I have

Crack. Now available in Garnet and Gold. Thanks FSUn.
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three.

something's not right
But it is functional. You have to move the cursur around to make text appear. Also the text box starts out under the post/comment button, then moves up after you scroll around. This is cool though. Now I can be a dork at home and on the road!

This is great!
I’ve always been able to comment on mobile because I’m rockin an iPhone but it’s quicker now because I don’t have to let a full site render.
Who will drink to this epic and glorious day in TN history?

What is a tweet or twit and what do I have to do to get this to work on my cell phone pictured below?

>-----:----:------>Spear 'em then Scalp 'em
Dude?
It’s come to this…….is the ringtone on the phone pictured above.
The British Invasion-Version 4.0.
Who peed on my rug?
>-----:----:------>Spear 'em then Scalp 'em
Suggestion
i know i know we just got this, but it would make for a better experience if the mobile page just had “jumps” to the articles to cut down on the load time. i would also like to able to see if there are new comments before taking the jump.

Wow this time last year we had one post every 2 or 3 days.
This year FSUn you and the guys are trying to keep us up to date and on our toes. All while on summer brake or taking those annoying summer classes. Now the only thing that sucks is I have to wait tell X-miss to get a blackbarry so I can have e-net on my phone. The millitary wont pay for that yet so I have to wait. Its all good. I can get by with what I have.
Why is the sky blue? Because, God Loves the Infantry
Its all good. Ill be one tell you make me cough up a buck or 2
Hell I might even stay because your work is worth that and more.

I see SBN is taking the Apple approach...
add the fnacy stuff and then the edit features.
In all seriousness I’m excited about the mobile postings. Good job and this is from my HTC Touch Pro.

At first the no edit was annoying
You just kinda get used to it.
Though it would be amazing if, somehow, they allowed editable comments.
TN App?
Is there an app in the works? Blackberry/iPhone?

By the way I resent the word "rigged" for what I did.
It was a thing of beauty. ;)
In all seriousness, though. Not working for me on Blackjack 2, although it is about a year old which is equivalent to 100 million years in the cellphone world.
