It is not only OK to be paranoid, but it is now very socially acceptable. I used to only wear a tin foil hat, but that was no longer enough to protect me. I encourage everyone to join me.

>-----:----:------>Spear 'em then Scalp 'em
so are you going to be part of the Tinfoil Man Group.
Also you look stoned.

This is going to be fun!
Free is always a plus.
"I have come that you may have life, and life to the max"
However...
I dislike that I have to be reminded of the Gators success every time I open the page.
"I have come that you may have life, and life to the max"
Give up now!
You guys have had it. It is over. There is no way of beating my highly scientific approach…like/dislike their helmet, like dislike their uniform colors, like/dislike their mascot, like/dislike their conference. Or I have been a fan of that team and will always pick them no matter.
you sound like my wife
Guess ill get the UNC vs FSU over you.
Why is the sky blue? Because, God Loves the Infantry
HAH!
My wife wants to road trip to chapel hill this year. you guessed it … she loves them baby blues.
its funny because my wife is a wolf pack fan but loves the Carolina Blue
She thinks if NCST sucks its ok to love the other teams from NC. I told her thats like me rooting for UM or UF.
Why is the sky blue? Because, God Loves the Infantry
nice
The Dude isn’t greedy all he wanted was his rug back.
What is the deal with Phil Steele picking UM over us? Anyone have a link?

Some hard picks this week
esp considering we haven’t seen a single snap of football.
"I have come that you may have life, and life to the max"
Absolutely
I am trying to avoid making us pick games that don’t involve at least one BCS conference team, with the obvious exception of a Boise or a Texas Christian.
Are these the final spreads? Or will they change before this week’s games?
by thirdcoastnole on Aug 30, 2009 8:14 PM EDT up reply actions
so are we playing vs the spread.
It is a win vs lose or does the team have to cover there spreads to get the points.
Why is the sky blue? Because, God Loves the Infantry
hardest one to pick for me was the
Oregon(14) (-) Boise St.(16) (-) -5.5
Im going to go with Boise St but I have a gut feeling Im dead wrong. Something about those Ducks.
Why is the sky blue? Because, God Loves the Infantry
Same here
Difficult choice. I went with the mighty quackers.
Not an alcoholic, just an FSU grad.

Kind of off topic
I was wondering what do you guys think of the spread for gambling purposes? FSU is -6 over Miami. Do you think I should take FSU -6 or Miami +6. I honestly think FSU will win comfortably. Now I know you guys are FSU homers so its going to be tough to be objective, but if you put money on it what would you bet.
There was a firefight!!!!
Line is off Centsports.

It seems that our pool is not a SPREAD pool. It seems the results are showing that of a normal pick the out-right winner.
For instance, Indiana was a 30.5 favor over East Kentucky. I chose East Ku to cover, Indiana won by 6, and my pick is shown incorrect.
Then, Utah was 21.5 favor over Utah St. I chose Utah to cover that, but they only won by 18 and my pick is shown as correct.
I was just sent an email from the admin that runs the office pool website and he said there is a bug in the scoring system and it should be fixed (and scoring will be fixed) by morning.

Thanks for the heads up
Unfortunately for me, I was unaffected overall as I had 1 game right and 1 game wrong (same as yours above).
I got off to a terrible start going only 3-3 today.
