Most of the members of this site were at one time, Seminole students. So when we were asked to post news of a student pep rally for the Miami game, we thought it would be a great idea. It's today, so spread the word! Tallahassee needs to be fully hyped for this game, and that process starts a week in advance. Meet former 'Nole greats and current FSU stars.
Tallahassee, Florida Seminole Student Boosters has announced their annual pep rally, Seminole Uprising, will be held August 31st at 6:30pm in Tully Gymnasium. Doors will open at 6:00pm. Hosted by Gene Deckerhoff, guests included Coach Bobby Bowden, Former National Championship Players Corey Simon, Talman Gardner, and Nick Maddox, the Florida State football coaching staff, as well as the 2009 Florida State football team.
Hosted by famed long time Seminole commentator, Gene Deckerhoff, Uprising is sure to be a lively and spirited event. Special appearances by the Florida State football program and head coach Bobby Bowden will be a highlight of the event. Along with the Florida State football program, all other student athletes and coaches from various Florida State athletic programs will be present as well.
Seminole Uprising is an annual pep rally hosted by Seminole Student Boosters to kick off the football season and promote the Seminole spirit. Past Uprisings have been broadcast on ESPN live and featured on ESPN's Sports Center as well.
