USC vs NCST
This game sucked. It proved NCST doesnt have a Def, doesnt have a running attack, the only good thing for NCST in this is if (IF) the QB gets time he can throw. Hes not that fast. USC is not a great team and they dont lookm that good IMO. Our Def can play as good as USC and Our Offense should be lightyears better. This is a good game for teams like FSU and Clem. because it tells Us how bad they suck.

I'm wary of saying it's a sure win
But NC State didn’t look very good in any phase of the game tonight. However, the same could be said about us in our openers of the recent era.

Im not saying its a sure win, Just that NCST looked like junk
USC didnt look good ether. The score should have been 28-3 USC but USC couldnt get it done.

Arrrggghhhhhh!!!!!!!
Why does the ACC seem to always find a way to look like idiots in prime time. USC is not a good team but NC State looked even worse. But you wait and see, those boys will play the best game of their lives against us. They will do things they have not done all year against us, and give us a game…..just like every team in the ACC seems to do now.
Sorry, just need to rant, Slyvester (Lou Holtz) has already proclaimed that South Carolina could win the ACC, everyone is now saying the entire ACC reputation rests on the VT game which I am now predicting will be a blowout of epic proportions in favor of Alabama.
At least I got to see the halftime special on Tebow, I was unsure if he was even playing this year…..just haven’t heard anything about him.
If NCST and USC are in the mid of the conf like people think
I think it makes both look bad. We will look bad on Sat when Bama puts the hurt on VT. This was a very bad game. NCST couldnt get a running game going and there Def couldnt stop the run throw at them without suport. USC Fb looked great with a smashmouth.

I heard Holtz say that
And threw up in my mouth. This ESPN “analyzation” is just a joke. This is going to be the worst year to watch college football games/analysis on TV in history.

Never truer words have been spoken DKfromVA
This is the first year ever in all my college football watching days that I am hesitant to watch games. The mundane drivel and over the top worship have taken new heights, literally to the point of ruining the game. There is not a single person on ESPN that is of any quality. I know its for entertainment but come on, enough is enough.
I have heard people say that they turn the FSU game on TV and turn Gene on the radio to get by but that won’t work for a game without FSU in it that I want to see.
Doesn't remember how Clemson hammered So.Carolina last year? 31-14?
Lou’s not firing on all cylinders. They should get him and Beano together for a 30 minute trip into Lala Land!

Lou
This guy needs a job at the local Wal-Mart, greeting customers as they come in. Talk about being biased… he states that USCe could win the ACC or at least play in the ACCCG. He also predicts ND to play UF in the championship game? What? Are you serious???
You guys might want to know Lou is taking us to win the ACC.
Why is the sky blue? Because, God Loves the Infantry
Yea but that ruins my analogy....damnit.
So I guess Lou has at least one more in him…….perhaps the ND in the NC game with UF will come true…ha ha
russell wilson
some were sayin he would be maybe the best qb in the conference this year…..my ass…he looked horribleee.
it’ll be a fight with clemson but i think we have our conference imo.
He got ran down 3 or 4 times it was sad.
NCST might get better with time but there Def is crap as of right now. USC’s D did a good job. I did see some things like more bubble screens and a lot of pro running. This is good for us I think because we play a lot of man and MA is good agenst Pro-style Offenses.
Why is the sky blue? Because, God Loves the Infantry
It should have been 28-3 USC.
That last pass to the endzone shouldnt have ment anything. USC let NCST sty in that game because they didnt have a running game ether. Ive watched this game again with some of the guys I work with and they are all USC fans and are not happy with how USC played.
Why is the sky blue? Because, God Loves the Infantry
I don't think it should have been 28-3
It could have been a 3-0 barnburner if NCSU didn’t fumble in the redzone.
Lets be glad we did not get LaGarret Blount (sp?)
Did you see the cheap shot followed by the freak out? Granted, I would be pissed too if I just lost and the other team slapped my shoulder pads ( total Gator thing to do) but the sucker punch was cowardly. Shove the guy, grab him and throw him to the ground….something else. Don’t show how chicken crap you are to sucker punch the guy as he moves away. And then the freak out on the field with the fans….come on. He needs to be kicked out of Oregon for their own good, he is trouble waiting to happen and does not deserve the free education that I would bet his is not getting.
It was said that Blount is a hot head
What an embarrassment to the University and athletic program. Let’s see how they handle his punishment. I’m sorry but his apology isn’t enough for what transpired. I agree though, he could have simply confronted the guy and then walked away. Don’t know what was said when his pads were slapped but it couldn’t have been good (judging by their HC’s expression before and after the sucker punch).
Done, What is sad is he said Im sorry after the game.
What a load of BS. I would never do that Im sorry I know better. Ya tell you get held to -5yrs for the game again and someone laughs at you. Kick his @$$ off the team.
Why is the sky blue? Because, God Loves the Infantry
I'm sure he was forced to make that apology
I don’t think it’s gonna change anything (in regards to his punishment/consequences).
Whou would have ever thought a Spurrier coached team would struggle to put up 7 points?
He just doesn’t seem the same. His passion is gone. I’m beginning to believe the opinion that the Redskins gig broke his spirit. He’s never been the same. Not that I’m all that upset about it, mind you….
Karma’s a bitch baby!

Spurrier's a broken man!
Don’t let anyone fool you, the pro fiasco was humbling but the snub from returning to coach the gators hurt the most. Spurrier has always been and always will be a gator, not being begged to come back crushed his soul.
Funny thing is, I actually loved when Spurrier coached there. He was a true gator and he made the rivalry much more acidic. The fact that he was a real gator though allowed me to look past his comments and actions due to his allegiance to the gators and hatred for us….because it was real. The skid mark stain that is Urban Cryer though, I don’t have on ounce of respect for his disrespect of our team. He is a gun for hire who could give two sh+#s about that team if he were not coaching them. I know many of you will say that is what a coach is supposed to do but Meyer is a douche bag in that he is disrespectful for no reason and then cries when disrespected back.
I'm with you!
I absolutely LOVED it when Spurrier was coaching UF. It made the rivalry so much better because it was so incredibly fun to hate Spurrier as much as the team. But, like you said, it was because of his passion for the Gators that made him so likeable for them and hated by us. Also, I used to root for the Gators to win whenever they played anyone but us because I wanted them to be undefeated all the way until Thanksgiving. Now, I just cringe when I see them take the field and am begging for them to lose as much as possible. Come on UT and UGA!!!!
Hes in SC not FL. He cant get the recruits like when he was there.
Also he is fighting between All the ACC and SEC for recruits in a school that is not one of the top tear teams.
Why is the sky blue? Because, God Loves the Infantry
I agree USC and UF are worlds apart in recruiting
My bigger point is that he is a shell of the man he once was, evident in his near cordial demeanor and shy style compared to UF years. He really wanted to make UF pay for not bringing him back but he could not do that. Then he just thought he would reveal in their demise without him….clearly that did not happen so now Steve is just collecting a paycheck for retirement and secretly killing baby alligators in his basement to ease his pain.
He's trying to put a square peg into a round hole.
The players he can recruit from the area are brought up playing power football and he wants to run his “Fun n’ Gun” offense at USCe. If he can’t adjust his offense to the talent that surrounds his school, he should have tried to land a job at FAU or FIU where the talent pool locally is more conductive to his offense.
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three.
Elayne Boosler
Wow....that was nasty
That would have put NCST on 35 to start. Convient that it was not called by SEC official….and the guy had a clear shot of it from no more than 10 ft away….
Bad no call but
didn’t NC ST draw a pass int penalty on the very next play? Not sure what the difference in the eventual field position was but either way that was a pretty bad face mask and the ref was standing right there.
"No, like I said, Woo peed on my rug" - The Dude
will say one good thing at SC
They took a very small time out late in the game as NC State started running the ball successfully on them. Whether it was just the breather or an adjustment or stopping momentum it really seemed to help them.
