"I think people had unfathomable perceptions of what I may do on the field," Rolle said. "But what a lot of people don't understand is that when you're playing at Florida State — or you're playing within any college system — it's a system. And you must stick to your responsibility. The good players do it.
Very interesting to hear someone talk about the system. It sounds to me like since he's in the spotlight now (trying to go pro), that he feels the need to explain his one interception and 3rd to 4th place finishes in tackles in the three years he started. Does this sound more like a reason or an excuse? I don't know.
Let me be clear that I believe that Myron is one of the best ambassadors FSU has (from both an athletic and academic standpoint) and in no way am I taking a shot at him. And I don't believe for one second that he would put any blame on Mickey. However, it sounds to me like he thinks he could have made more big plays had the system been different.
Maybe he is saying how others missed their assignments. Who knows. What are your thoughts?
