If the reports that Cam Newton cheated during his senior season at UF are accurate, will UF have to forfeit all games in which Cam Newton played in 2007 and 2008?
According to FOX Sports, "Newton, considered the front-runner for the Heisman Trophy, attended Florida in 2007 and 2008 before transferring to Blinn College, a junior college in Texas. He first violated Florida’s student honor code by cheating in a class during his freshman year, according to the source."
According to a UF website, Newton played in several games in 2007 as Tebow's backup and against Hawaii in 2008, when he was injured and forced to medical redshirt.
FSU, as a result of the so-called "academic cheating scandal," was forced by the NCAA to vacate victories and even national titles where cheaters participated because they were retroactively ruled ineligible.
Should UF be forced to vacate its 2007 and 2008 games?
