I thought it was obvious early in the season that Harris was just plain better, if not simply far more disciplined as a corner back than Reid, but at this point in the year its almost absurd to me.  Harris is a very good football player and is always making plays without noticeably getting burned - while Reid is obsessed with making the big pick and also has major tackling issues.

Not to mention Harris' obvious size difference on Reid - which looked like it would have helped against Dwight Jones from UNC when he was making Reid look like a munchkin, it just seems clear that Reid should be the nickel right now and Harris should be with the starters.

Is it a case of politics, did we promise Reid he would start in order to sign him?  Is it because he has such a high ceiling and we just want to keep getting him reps while he learns better technique?  Does anyone have any insight here?
