Al Golden to Miami, according to Bruce Feldman

Elaboration on the Twitter post can be found right here. Golden is a quality coach who did the impossible in building up Temple from a school where players would routinely skip practice into the best team in the MAC second best team in the MAC (sorry NIU) Of the coaches Miami could afford, this is clearly the best. Credit the Canes for avoiding the disaster that would have been Marc Trestman. Golden's teams play solid, physical, fundamental football. And Golden will be able to recruit (if Miami's admin lets him) as he is used to inner-city kids in Philly. He has an excellent rep as a recruiter. But will Miami give him the resources he needs? For the money, this is a good hire. But the hire also shows that the Canes don't have the cash to be a top program. In Coral Gables, the coach is only half the battle.
