First off I think we need to see where the two programs are, then where they are going, and last what it would take to fix what is wrong.

There are 5 schools in Florida (FSU, UF, UM, USF, and UCF) That is a lot but what schools matter. well lets drop UCF because sorry to say they are not going to beat the other schools year in and out with the David vs Goliath game plan. So we have UF :SEC, USF:Big East and Miami and FSU : ACC. I really dont want to bring USF into this because the Big east is a joke now and I dont care what people think because truth is they can beat the other schools in Florida year in and year out.

OK lets start with Miami because that why I am writing this. Can Miami make it back and what would it really take. I think they can but I dont think they will. The reason they will not make it back to the top is money. Miami can fork out the cash like UF and FSU can. Sucks to be them. They dont get the cash to get the coach like UF and FSU can get. they have so settle for a b class coach.
So what would it take for Miami to make it, not that much really. Miami I think needs to get someone to run a strait spread like Organs. ??? What ??? Miami cant get the top end coach how can recruit top end players like Fisher and Co can. So what do they do they get a guy that will run a fast pace spread option offence. Why this because you dont need talent to run it. all you need is speed. All you need is a FAST QB and 6 FAST WR. Get a RB that is big more like a FB (the faster the better) and poof you ahve a fast offence. Where can Miami get this. ITS BACKYARD. I really dont want to sound bad about this but Miami Fl. and the south of FL has more speed that anywhere in the country. Go to any school an get a kid that can fly faster than anyone. Most HS now run the spread anyway. If you need a QB Im sure you can get one. The problem is getting the kid into school but hell if they can get me in Im sure they can get anyone in. Dont worry bout Def because if you out score your opponent then you win.

Uf is a dif story. I think they can come back and be big bad ugly in FL and the SEC. There only problem this year is there QB. If Cam stayed there UF would be where Aurben is. Also UF can drop the money to get any coach and staff they want. It will be nice for this UF vs FSU game to mean something again. maybe not next year but 2012+ this game could tell you who is going to the NC year in and out or kick one out a NC game. UF has the talent like FSU did in the 90s. Today you cant just win on talent alone though. UF lost Tebow but more so they lost there DC. Well now they have a new HC and I bet he gets a team of coaches to give FSU a run with recruits. UF will be fine sad to say. They wont bounce back next year but 2012 they could be right back with us on top. All because they hafve the money. The only bad thing about UF is thet most coaches need time to get the people in for there scram. Not the case here. UF is loaded with talent. They wont run this crazy spread and there Def could be STACKED if they want.

In the end I thing unless UM goes to a fast option spread lights out. UF down next year and in the fight after that.
