Orlando Sentinel says TE Reliford is ineligible
The Orlando Sentinel's Andrew Carter is reporting that FSU starting TE Beau Reliford is ineligible for the Chick-Fil-A Bowl.
If this is the case it is likely that Reliford, a junior, will be replaced in the starting lineup by Ja'Baris Little. Reliford is FSU's 5th leading receiver and has one touchdown catch this season. Reliford is FSU's only academic casualty for this game and has not traveled with the team to Atlanta.
UPDATE: Andrew has fuller information here. Sounds like Fisher was surprised to find out that Reliford had a problem.

I hope the coaches have known for it awhile. FSU doesn’t have a lot of TE depth, and if memory serves, two of the TEs FSU has were redshirting.
If they have known awhile, they could have game planned with it in mind. Also possible that for TE depth someone like Debrale Smiley could see reps at TE as a stop gap measure. Or maybe a backup OL for blocking.

all this is in the context of the bowl game. Long term, Tye and Sessions should step up, and it gives O’Leary more of a chance as a freshman.

Believe he has some serious (not fake) learning disabilities.
This team will improve in '10... on its 16-16 conference record over the last 4 years.... after losing 20 games in the last 4 years... after having the 7th worst major-conference defense... after not even winning its own division in the ACC in the last 4.
