Dungy chooses Oregon
Although it would have been nice to have the Dungy name associated with the program, this is probably the best move for the kid. Honestly, I don't think he would have ever seen the field with the DB class we're bringing in.

to have him on the team, but you are right that he would havent had a slim chance to play.

Dungy is a really good player...
on an elite FL HS team. A good student, and a model citizen. He would have been an asset to FSU. That said, with the insane DB talent (best D recruits in the nation?) it would have been very challenging for him to gain significant time. Oregon has a good class going, and has an enthusiatic fan base, almost as fanatical as FSU (almost) I wish him the best, and I will close with this: everyone thought his Dad was a little skinny to be an NFL DB—he turned out ok didnt he?

They do have nice looking facilities too
and for some reason some people like their crazy uniform combos
Good for him....he has a better chance to play there more than FSU.
