Well, part of my answer’s in the question, but all it really took was one good look at that terrible South bracket and, considering the competition they’ll face, I figured surely no one else will take a chance on these guys – I’m taking the big risk. I mean, there may be some gutsy folks here on TN, but not that gusty, right? So what happens when I log into the bracket today and eye everyone’s eventual national champion picks? I learn that Tomahawk Nation is the most conservative betting community in the history of fake internet gambling. Game over. Did anyone not pick a #1 seed to win the whole thing? Based on the above comments, kudos to MattDNole (gutty) and CelticPride (so gutty), one of whom definitely, and probably both of which, know a lot more about college basketball these days than I do – and after "Rob Morr" yesterday and my realization that (almost) every single TN member’s chosen a legit favorite to win it all, leaving me zero wiggle room for when I don’t nail the long shot, this is admittedly my only consolation. As Coach Ham might say, in so many words: Wait’ll next year. Or the year after that. Or maybe just a couple years after that. Just you wait.
