It's a bonus, basically
Get a bracket into an office pool before that game and you can pick up a point if you get it.

Would love this upset.
I didn’t have Nova getting that far anyways and I hate the Big East bias.

You guys see Hamilton said he wanted to double the NCAAT to 128 teams?

LOL
Well it’d make his job easier. Fans complacent enough to say “well, we make the tournament more times than not.”
>>---l>
No kidding, but then I'd raise my expectations from just making it (for now) to getting to AT LEAST the round of 64.
And I’d expect any “bonus” money for making the NCAAT to be removed and put into the round of 64 slot.
Double down
Leonard Hamilton, the Florida State coach, is not only for expansion of the tournament to 96 teams. He doesn’t see why it shouldn’t just go another full weekend, to 128.
The Seminoles tied in the Atlantic Coast Conference at 10-6 with Virginia Tech, but the Hokies were left out of the field.
“I think you ought to just double it,” Hamilton said, referring to Tech, “so you take a lot of those scenarios out of the game.”

Fwiw, the article is about splitting basketball into a DI-A and DI-AA like football.
It pretty much keeps any conference that has a member capable of making a sweet sixteen run in DI-A (Horizon, A10, West Coast, Missouri Valley, Colonial, etc.) and would essentially split the DI-A field in half.

Seriously. Kentucky’s competition this year has been average at best. I think they go down before the Final 4

Didn't think you went into such great detail.
And I understand the rivalry between OSU and UM but I don’t think most people hate the state and everything associated with the STATE (not the school, but the state).
I did most of my growing up in Ohio, am not an Ohio State fan, and dislike them and their fans as much as Florida and Miami. But I think it’s a bit extreme to hate, say, Cedar Point because it’s in the same state that OSU is located.

I agree. There are some instances where one team doesn't even have possession. Instead, they are on the ground trying to wrestle the ball away
yet do to the possession arrow they end up with the ball.
I hear that. Possession arrow does suck. Lets start a facebook site.

I think it is entirely possible
Kentucky seems to be a little overconfident and I could see them taking Wake lightly and getting upset, or at least having a very tight game.
Two things:
Why the f is CBS showing Minnesota/Xavier in southwest Florida? Put on the damn West Virginia/Morgan State game. It’s a 2 seed and they’re losing!
And the commercials with the guy from Flight of the Concords (or whatever that show’s called) are pretty funny.
