Valdosta (Lowndes Co.) Safety Tyler Hunter Commits to Florida State
Tyler Hunter, a talented safety from Valdosta's Lowndes County high committed to Florida State in early March. Hunter is the 4th member of Lowndes to commit to Florida State in the last two years, joining Greg Reid, Gerald Demps, and Telvin Smith.
The 6'0" 200 lb Hunter is also a talented baseball player and was extremely impressive at the 2009 Seminole Showtime camp. Hunter is capable of playing both corner and safety and his position at FSU is still to be determined. He's a tremendous athlete and a great ball player, as you can see here. Hunter runs a 4.50 40 and boasts a 4.33 shuttle time. He is on the ESPNU150 watch list.
