Make that friday, TC. 9pm.

Fantastic. This week at work is gonna be a breeze. Got the Sat radio to listen to the other games whilst working, then happy hour on Friday at my favorite spot in Cleveland, Johnny’s Downtown, which makes an awesome stuffed hot pepper appetizer, then home for the 9pm start with a sixpack. The only question now is which microbrew to pick. I shall consider those options all week.

Wherever you are, Trick, you are wise, indeed. Your perfect scenario (at least for the ACC) has come true,

I will listen to your counsel from here on out this basketball season.

How do you get the game on TV?

I couldn’t get it on TV last year (vs. UW). Not on in Atl and obviously not avaiable on 360.com

Oh, you are talking about the first round NCAA Tournament game. I watched that one on

my computer, all the games were available at CBS Sports website, and for free too. I assume that set-up will apply this year too.

Next friday night’s game is on ESPN2, 9pm.

I do that CBS streaming stuff, too.

One game on my laptop, setup on a chair or table next to the tv with another game on. When I lived in Dayton I had 2 CBS stations, one from Cincy and one from C-bus so I got to watch 2 games at once and didn’t need the internet feed. Although, I’m not sure they offered it back then.

But I watched our NCAAT game last year at Bullwinkle’s. Good lord was that place busy. I think I would’ve rather watched that game alone than with what honestly seemed close to 1,000 other fans/students. Whole place was bumpin’ for the first hour and a half or so and then boom, hit the skids big time.

Few things.

You’re a quote machine.

Also, I was VERY strongly disagreed with on another popular FSU site over rooting for VT. I have less friends on there than I do here, if you can believe that one.

As far as listening to my council, I’m no Yoda (Hudson Jedi Knight reference). But I’m more than happy to give my opinion on things.

Heck, I got no problem giving credit where credit is due! As I said before, that was going

out on a limb rooting for VaTech yesterday. I’m glad it worked out for the Noles. Granted, the ACC is probably not as strong as it was last year, but it is just amazing to consider this team finished a seed BETTER than last year’s TD-led squad.

I like your plan for Friday. I may have to do something similar.

Now the question is, who is a better match up for FSU, Clemson or NC St.?

by TCHOP561 on Mar 7, 2010 8:42 PM EST reply actions

Yes, it is a good plan. Hey, my head says root for NCState, its the easier rematch. My heart

says Clemson, to take the sting out of that loss to them at home last Sunday, and because you want to beat the best.

Ultimately, I am with Celtic below: either is fine. Revenge is a dish best served in Greensboro, Carolina Barbecue-style, with a side of slaw.

Unbelievabe draw

We get a chance to avenge one of our losses on Friday. Then, if the seeds play out, we’d get another crack at Maryland. I personally would much rather play these teams than teams that we have already beaten. Playing Miami agaiin would have been the worst. The draw is perfect. I hope we take advantage of it. Go Noles!

Thornton going off tonight.

24 points
11 boards

2 steals
37+ minutes

Wish TD got some minutes.

He’s putting up good numbers in limited action. Very limited.

Because Duhon isn't doing jack. Saying it's about Duhon's salary?

Love to see Johnson get the call up. Doing very well in the NBDL. http://www.nba.com/dleague/playerfile/index.jsp?player=alexander_johnson

And it’d be nice if Wafer at least got to enter the game for the Mavs. Or is his 10 day contract up? I don’t know, but why sign him if you don’t plan on playing him a single second.

I think the idea about Toney was that they are showcasing talents of trade-bait.

Can’t bench a guy and then expect to get good value. Toney isn’t going anywhere, so despite the promise he’s shown (or maybe due to it), he rides the pine.

I hate the NBA's trade policy regarding salaries,

not that I’m I that familiar with it, but who would want Duhon and why? He would have to be the guy to go for TD to get more pt.

All that and a Celtic win :)

I was listening to the DC announcers trash the incoming players after the “great selloff” here and I was thinking to myself. “Wait a sec, Al Thornton can ball…”

this a huge accomplishment!

and proof that Ham is a good coach.

Everyone should be proud of this team, even if they run a little different from what you want.

This is also proof that FSU can and should expect to compete for conference championships.

A decent offense would have us competing with Duke and Maryland this year.

We’re good, but we could be so much better than we are.
