We were invited to write a piece arguing why Florida State should be in the NCAA tournament. The data is pretty clear and it shouldn't be a question at this point.

the #3 team in the acc needs to argue this?

What is this world coming to.

Speak softly, and carry a big Spear

Even if that's the case (re: FSUn's post), that's why you gotta love TC.

In that article, he approaches both the casual and hardcore fan as if he’s never heard of the conference or its tradition (because if you’re not an ACC fan, you don’t want to hear it) and simply laid out the bullet points of Florida State’s resume, warts and all.

Of course you can try too hard: Did you read the Virginia Tech guy’s piece? Niemo (not a fish) gives you the impression that leaving the Hokies out of the tournament would be the single dumbest thing you could possibly do this week, then basically lays out every argument he assumes you’ve heard as to why they don’t deserve to be in. Honestly, he swayed me the other way! I hadn’t thought about how “legendarily soft” their OOC schedule was until he mentioned it. Or that “the Hokies had a soft ACC schedule, playing the bottom five teams twice each.” Niemo’s solution to lock up the bid? Lose in the ACC tourney. March Madness, eh? I get it now.

Anyway, I type all this to say: Thanks for all your great work this season, TC. This was more great pub for our favorite site.

Nice job.

Not sure why we would have to “make the case” for FSU to get in – even before getting bumped to #3. But I see this as another chance for TC to showcase his skills nonetheless.
