Lonnie Gosha De-Commits
Gosha says he rushed the decision. Nothing has changed with FSU, just thought it was a bit too early. Kids get caught up in the moment and FSU's recruiters are really good. It's just generally a poor idea to "commit" when you have multiple favorite schools.

just made a fanshot and deleted it
Beat me to it Bud. I thought it was kind of odd to be getting this many early commits. Better to find out about this now than wait until later I guess.
i liked the other april fool's day hoax better
it was more original

Could be like si picking up tjw TN story.

Dameyune Craig needs to stop letting recruits watch Matthew Perry films.

The fastest Seminole of them all, Fisher runs a 4.39
http://www.seminoles.com/sports/m-footbl/nike/nike.html
" Fisher’s approach to building a winner is lifted from Saban’s playbook. Right down to the terminology such as becoming more "process oriented" as opposed to "results oriented."
" Nick and I are friends," he said. "That guy is one of the best football coaches I’ve ever been around. God knows he’s brilliant. … A lot of the things he believes are a lot of things I believe. We’re very similar!
The process begins!
Let's hope he de-de-commits
btw, more (potentially) bad news: USC offered Hart today.
Opponents: start to panic... now!
Long time til NSD
We’ll be alright. I have faith in the recruiters that FSU now has.

After reading his intial coments.....
when he committed, Im not suprised at all. The kid did the right thing! I still like our chances.
I would not be surprised if Herban Liar was behind his decision to de-commit.
Old, slow, and dangerous, but still serving a purpose.
>-----:----:------>Spear 'em then Scalp 'em
The kid's gotta do what the kid's gotta do.
I respect his decision 100%. It is a long way until NSD and he needs to make sure he has chosen the right place.

Man, I wish we were Gator fans
then we could bash him, his family, and his friends…
Now, that would be a good time!!!
I don't think this kid..
will end up in FSU’s class. I almost wish we would move on if he’s gonna play these sort of games
*facepalm*

right
it seems obvious he has serious character issues. any High School junior who hasn’t decided his future by now is questionable to me. if you’re going to commit via facebook status, you better be sure!

It's would be wise not be too self rightoeus when comes to recruiting
We are the ones with the emotional investment, not the kids who are trying to make an informed decision about their future.

I love it when guys
talk about football recruits like they are dating. “I should just move on if she’s going to play these sort of games….”

Kids change their minds
It will work for us and against us but it’s little much to accuse him of playing games. He just reconsidered his decision relative to the time he has to make one. No big deal.
Team Garnet!
And you'd rather not take any commitments at all, I assume,
rather than risk having egg on your face. Got it.

April fool

distance and family will be a factor
His interview on Rivals points out that was swayed by his family’s wishes which were for him to go to FSU because of the distance. But, he wants to explore his options and wasn’t ready to commit.
We’ll see. I hope he ends up here. He did leave the door open for it.
Im actually kind of proud of this kid.
He rushed into a decision, and rectified as soon as he could. He could have continued to play lip service and really continued the recruiting process, only to jump ship at a time when we the FSU staff would be unable to come up with a backup plan. We count on kids changing their minds every 10 minutes, but now the recruiters know for sure.
I feel the same way Miami...
Admitting a wrong decisipn isnt easy to do, and minimized the damage by retracting early.
However, I do hope he’s learned a little life lesson (alliteration abounds) and will think hard before committing.

I just wonder why everyone thinks he's going somewhere else.
Nothing’s certain at this point but we may still be in the lead for him.
Team Gold!
I never said he was done, but now he isnt taking up a spot so to speak
Who knows subconsciously what changes happen to coaches when a guy commits. They know (prob did) that this was a guy that was going to take continuous work. But now, lets say he doesnt sign with us, it makes it much easier to swallow bc he wasnt doing it in a shady way.
Agreed,
Took more fortitude and maturity (and consideration) to clarify now.
Guys, the days of hoping for"scraps" on the recruiting table and"luck" on the football field are over. We have hungry lions recruiting for us now. Just so happens those hungry lions can also coach.
......and let the paramedics sort 'em out!
