As a longtime lurker and person who attended FSU (sometimes sober) from ’82 to ’84, I would like to thank TN for inspiring me to become a Seminole booster and purchase tickets to enjoy the Samford game with my six year old future Noles qb.
My post involves the clarification of the definition of JORTS. As I had previously understood it, jorts stood for “jeans shorts” which is totally red-neckulas apparel conceived because of the need to cut the crap-stained cuffs ruined from all the cow pie stomping. Then in the Marshall McDougal video, someone pointed out the person wearing tailored Denim shorts and called them jorts. I have a pair of denim shorts which I like and was about to sew a “Fear the Spear” patch on the crotch, but I don’t want to look silly (you know, wearing jorts). Please help clear up my confusion and save me from a fashion faux pas, or worse, being a gaytor-emulaytor.
Thanks in advance, Ethan
