Well, I guess they could issue a subpoena for phone records if they wanted. I don’t know all the legal issues that go into that. Hope the kid isn’t lying. Fresno contacted him? Why? They’re Fresno. Bama has a great backfield already, and is in prime position to bring in top backs this recruiting cycle. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is true (I don’t put anything past UF), but it seems a little bit sketchy.

It doesn’t matter anymore. USC is done, and they deserve to be. Fresno probably called him because they took five kids from San Diego this past cycle. Some of whom know Baxter. Aside from that, I get they figured they would throw it up against the wall and see if it stuck. And apparently, Baxter cannot find his cell phone

Why should he have kept his mouth shut?

I’m sure USC had a meeting and told all their nonupperclassmen if they’re contacted it’s an NCAA violation, so you better report it. Just because they deserve their sanctions doesn’t mean other schools should violate NCAA guidelines.

In the grand scheme of things it does him and USC no real good

If you’re gonna say something, don’t attached your name to it. Relay it to the coaching staff and hope they have enough nuts to blow the whistle.Especially if you can’t even “find” the phone that these schools were supposedly calling him on. It doesn’t help USC and reeks Lane Kiffin and his of BS. The NCAA had evidence of wrong doing. Apparently USC does not

Let him find his phone first

Then we’ll see who really called. The coaches need to be attaching their names to this too if it’s truly legit, not just Baxter. But like I said, I’m calling BS until the NCAA sees a call log. Which once again, until he finds his cell phone cannot happen.
