ESPN's Washington Wizard's TrueHoop Site 'Truth About It' Feature on Solomon Alabi
Solomon Alabi recently worked out with the Washington Wizards and 'Truth About It' put together a really nice feature piece about him that includes videos and interviews from the work out.
As today is Draft Day, it's a really nice read.
Where do you see Solomon going tonight? Draft coverage begins at 7pm EST.

When speaking with the guy from the Wizards, he hoped that they would move up to get him. The Wizards just accepted a trade with the Bulls for Kirk Hinrich and the #17 pick.
Could that be their way of moving up to get Solomon? We’ll know soon.

well i put the whammy on
I guess I put too much stock in other projections when I made this pick.
The recent string of big man project/busts hurt him as much as I originally thought it might.
Hurts, doesn't it?
Credit to Vasquez, he had a great senior season and got a lot of attention. He appears to have a more immediate impact than Alabi does. However, I’m surprised that Alabi drops to the second round. But, as they just said Dejuan Blair dropped to the second round and was excellent this year.

beyond hurts
I wish I had a sniper rifle for his sashaying bottom the last time I watched them play FSU at the Tuck…. I gest…… i think
This is getting very painful. Feel bad for Alabi. A lot of hype/talk ad now hes floating down into the second round.

worst part is I've been waiting to take a shower after he gets picked
so I sit here stinking it up… and wait…
I feel for him too. So how much is he giving up $$$ in 2nd round as compared to coming out next year? This isn’t like MLB where you can “undeclare” right?
No guaranteed money at this point and rookie contract, I believe, is typically only a year compared to three.

just brutal
seeing some of the bums who went ahead of solomon -
Ah well...
at least he’ll be making more than the rest of us for next year likely…. good for him. Would have loved to have seen him again in G&G but can’t do much about that now.
I was pissed.
Watched 4 FOUR QUATRO Heat picks, and not one of them was Solomon.
Good luck to you man, hope to watch you funking on everyone in your career.
