Could this be the beginning of a Heisman campaign for Christian Ponder? What are your thoughts Tomahawk Nation?

That's a great logo - should save it for endorsements if he eventually hits it big
Although the silhouette is almost reminiscent of Tom Brady. Not a terrible guy to pattern your career after, I suppose.
Terrible guy to pattern your haircut after though

He's a big Justin Beiber fan.

I'm not so sure this Jimbo fella is the right man for the job.
See, I was going to go the Mark Hamil, Luke Skywalker route
further proving my nerdiness.

Sorry fellas.
Tom Brady can do whatever the hell he wants. He’ll walk backwards into more action than all of us put together.

I briefly thought about it
But I think my marriage might be in the crapper if I replaced my wife’s pic with a CP7 logo. Maybe on the work PC.
Judging from some of the previous comments about Ponder, I am glad they at least spelled coming with an "o".

Anyone know the significance of July 7th?
just curious
"The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary." Vince Lombardi
"We'll win games with talent, we'll win championships with character." Jimbo Fisher
7's the key number here...
Think about it. 7-Elevens. 7 doors. 7, man, that’s the number. 7 chipmunks twirlin’ on a branch, eatin’ lots of sunflowers on my uncle’s ranch. You know that old children’s tale from the sea.

Wasn't there a fanpost or something a while back that said we had 7 NC's?
Christian Ponder: Your favorite quarterback's favorite quarterback.
Hopefully not our record come January.

If you subscribe to the logic of most ESPN analysts, then yes.
Bring back Korey Mangum — a true Nole!
not a serious question, just a poke at Frank.
The only way we play 14 games (7-7) is with an ACCCG appearance.
I’m sure you were being sarcastic also, it’s just hard to tell on here…
No, it was a joke, but we almost made with 6.

I know Jason, it's cool, but know that you mentioned it, Clemson made it with 6-2 record last year.

Definitely gonna be doing my part to promote Ponder for Heisman
I included his 09’ highlights in my article today here. A couple of Noles are supposed to be putting together a formal highlight video to send around to media outlets and heisman voters so Seminole Nation can really do their part!
It may just be me, but...
I think I would avoid using some of the spectacular-looking circus catches (such as a few by Fortson). Those tend to make the WR look better than the QB (although there are exceptions, such as if the ball literally could not have been placed anywhere else).
I would recommend plays where Ponder hits the WR in stride; great runs by him; great fakes; great scrambles, allowing him to find open receivers; maybe even a couple of the plays he made blocks for RBs; etc.
Also, I suggest they to focus on CP7 – the 98-yd pass to Owens, for example, looks good on a first view, but if a second view is given, I’d cut it off a step or two after Owens makes the catch. Show the nice pass, but save the time it takes for Owens to run to the end zone. Just a few suggestions… (though I’ve never made such a video).
The pass to Pryor in the Clemson game, where he puts the ball on his hip on the fake.
Baller.

I get what you're saying but . . .
Circus catches often occur when QB’s put the ball where ONLY the WR can catch it. There’s no shortage of plays where Ponder hits guys in stride so adding in spectacular plays doesn’t necessarily have to be cut. After all, part of being a great QB is allowing your playmakers to make plays and you won’t really find a Heisman QB . . . like ever, that didn’t have outstanding plays made by the skill players around him.
MVP Circus catch of the 2009 season.

If only both hands worked as well as one.
Christian Ponder: Your favorite quarterback's favorite quarterback.
Can we hang that
from a building in Times Square? Not a big fan of Heisman Hype, but this is pretty sweet.
Its tough
because its hard to stay in the conversion without that hype.
I think we should wait for the new one to come out with FSU and Ponder's name on it, because if they hang that one up in Times Square, the Jest fans are dumb enough to think a QB controversy is brewing between Kevin O'Connell and Mark Sanchez.

i know its a news-driven era
but i long for the good ole days when you didn’t need a marketing firm to win the heisman..
First Heisman I remember is Eric Crouch vs. Joey Harrington I believe?
Didn’t Harrington have a big poster up in Oregon or New York?
66 days till Samford. 09.04.10.
i still dont understand what 7.7.10 means
It’s OILL upside down?

CP7 is going to pull the trifecta?
Win the MNC, the Heisman, and clean up the oil spill at the same time?
Mike Martin should go coach Hawaii. Then he could have all the poi's he ever wanted - MattDNole
Did anyone see Christian on campus today?
I was walking in the tunnel leading from Rovetta => other side of TN today and noticed there was a BBQ or something sponsored by the SGA of which Ponder was supposed to be at promoting etc? It was from 1-3 and curses I happened to be leaving at 4.
I saw this in the Palm Beach Post this morning
You guys are off to a great start with CP7’s heisman campaign
Burt, thanks for joining and posting.

Is Smokey and the Bandit 4:Loni's Revenge still in pre-production or have you actually started filming?

Breaking News Regarding this Image
Evidently it’s already being circulated to major media outlets as reported on College Football Live. All 3 analysts received the image via e-mail.

Doesn't he have a Heisman vote?
It’d probably be a good idea to piss him off.
If he didn’t? It’d be DONE.
