Chris Singleton's golden opportunity
Chris Singleton has an opportunity to grow and learn quite a bit over a 5-day time period this summer. Here's to hoping he can gain a better understanding of his strengths and be an even greater asset to FSU Basketball in the 2010-2011 Season.
*Bumping this article from earlier in the week to remind readers that Chris Singleton will train with Team USA Select this coming week in Vegas. He's been campaigning for twitter followers all morning to keep people updated on what/how he's doing this summer, so if you aren't already, follow him @c31sing. Singleton received praise from ESPN's Jay Bilas for the way he performed at LeBron James basketball camp last week. Hopefully he'll give us all something to look forward to on the hardwood next season!

Good news
I expect a lot out of him next season, he really is great when he plays within his game. The obsession with Long range kills him.
singleton is the perfect second option
Can be used as a defensive stopper and score quite a bit too. The problem is, it’s too much to ask a guy to be a shut down defensive guy on one end of the court and your primary scorer on the other end.
I don't think its too much to ask at all
He has the ability to be both, he just makes bad decisions with the ball in his hands. He’s capable of being a lockdown player and being much more dominant on offense than he is now.
Just ask Toney.
MiNDSET? SWAG-ER-ISM!!!

"Trick is right."
"Wherever you are, Trick, you are wise, indeed."
Maybe they can teach him how to shoot.
That’s really the only BIG weakness I see in his game. I LOVE his energy and defense, but he struggles with his shot. That becomes a big weakness when he’s on the free throw line late in games.

I think they'll definitely talk to him about being more selective
He’ll have to work on his shot on his own time, he needs a lot of personal reps from the free throw line and long range. He’d be deadly if he had a mid-range shot as well, but you know kids these days have no clue what a mid-range jumper is haha
It's all about the 3's and dunks, that's true.
They need to watch guys like Rip Hamilton, dude makes a killing on that mid-range jumper!
