the local media is speculating that it has something to do with the fact that so many players came back (agents)

also they reported that one of teh players ncaa investigator spoke w/ was marvin austin

recall his last-second, unexpected choice of unc on nsd?

Yeah, apparently Odell had been recruiting Austin for several years and had built a strong relationship, and Coach Blake (?) swept in and stole him.

Would be a minor consolation to see if this was done by ill means… but would certainly be a redemption re: Odell’s recruiting prowess. That was the class that really hurt us.
