Attitude. Moxie. Want to. Enthusiasm. Momentum. Hunger.... Whatever you want to call it, one of the biggest factors in college football does not lay in the measurables, but in the mystery that lays between the ears of 18-22 year old kids.
How badly does THIS team want to win? How badly does THIS defense want to prove last year was a fluke? How badly does THIS staff want to work?
I would say in addition to the improved recruiting, a healthy 5th year QB, experienced O-line, special team quality, new defensive system, new coaching and conditioning, all the measurable stats that say we'll be improved on paper.... THIS team has an improved attitude.... something that no mathematical chart can quantify, and no system can predict. It's a "gut" thing. It's what makes a player give that extra rep in the weight room, that extra effort in practice. It's what makes college football so great.
Let's enjoy the ride, fellow fans!
