Andrew Carter (Sentinel) Amazing Profile Of Greg Reid
Absolutely great work by Andrew Carter here. He said he was working on a long piece and he wasn't kidding.

This guy
really is something special. And it means so much more when there’s something behind what’s left on the field. Andrew really did a great job on this one.
I’m not sure where he finds the time, because this took some serious investigation.
Of course I think the same about some of y’all (Bud) too.
Excellent
Very good job. I am glad Greg is able to succeed and able to prove his doubters wrong. And I am glad he does it FSU.
Great story and a great young man.
Nothing more to be said other than I need a garnet #5 jersey.
Strange things are afoot at the Circle-K.

"Superman Returns"
It’d HAVE to be better than the 2006 movie.
I got a look at the screenplay:
Reid: These pooch punts are funny. First you hate ‘em, then you get used to ’em. Enough time passes, you get so you depend on them. That’s institutionalized.
Lamarcus Joyner: Shit. I could never get like that.
Eddie Gran: Oh yeah? Say that when you been returning kicks as long as Greg has.
Reid: Goddamn right. They kick it out of bounds enough, and that’s exactly what they take. The punts that count, anyway.

Wow what a great story.
Greg seems like a great kid. The things he went through, he easily could be locked up somewhere right now but he chose to do the right thing. I am proud to call him a Seminole. Thank God for Ms Bridges too lol.
An amazing and heartfelt journey...
I sure hope G5 gets another return for a TD this Saturday in Norman (if those Sooners even dare to kick his way). What a guy!
I hope this article allows us to see past his showmanship and become a fan of the person who is Greg Reid.

Fantastic article.
"Words ought to be a little wild for they are the assault of thought on the unthinking."
- John Maynard Keynes
"We'll be here 'til midnight. We ain't not gonna practice."
- Jimbo Fisher
reminds us where some of these guys come from
and what some have had to overcome to get there….heart-warming and hope it has a wonderful happy ending.
"I am not now at all sure that the tendency to treat the whole thing as a kind of vast game is really good - certainly not for me who find that kind of thing only too fatally attractive." - J R R Tolkein
Wow
The Lord works in mysterious ways. It’s as if he was destined to lead FSU back to prominence.

True
I remember reading the article about him during the recruiting season. Great ambassador’s for the school as well. Unlike the the Florida Jailors who have the most arrests, maybe we can shed the name crimnoles with some of the current players.
We have to keep Criminoles
Because we’re stealing some sod from Norman Saturday.

I f you listen to Greg Reid you can tell he's smart
(I wish all of our players sounded as clear headed). He just needed the right environment and support to see it himself. I hope he continues to apply himself in the classroom and gets his degree. Although he’s electric as a punt returner and seems to be getting better at corner, he’s still only 5’8", and a long NFL career may be a longshot.
What a great article
People like Mrs. Bridges should make the news more often as an antidote to all the crap you hear about. Terrific story.
Awesome article
One of the best reads ever on this site imo
